1 John 2:15-17
15 Love (love which springs from admiration and veneration which chooses its objects with decision of will) not the world (kosmos), neither the things that are in the world (kosmos). If any man love the world (kosmos), the love of the Father is not in him
.16 For all that is in the world (kosmos) the lust (sinful desire) of the flesh (flesh), and the lust of the eyes, and the pride (the character of a false pretender, imposter, braggart, boastful, pride, arrogant) of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world (kosmos).
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust (sinful desire, mans depraved nature) thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

2 Beloved, now are we the sons (children, descendants) of God, and it doth not yet appear (to shine forth as to be seen) what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
