[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning.
[00:00:03] Speaker B: How are you on this fine, fine, but beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today and I hope you are excited today because today is the day that the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos and this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice of praise. Praise him and thank Him. Be joyful. I keep doing this where I. I'll do. There's two different. There's two different sides of this podcast.
[00:00:31] Speaker A: One's a blog and the other one's.
[00:00:32] Speaker B: A podcast that I put on, like, Spot, or was that Spotify and Apple? Whatever. And yesterday I posted it, but then I didn't post it. So there's gonna be two coming in today.
But. Yeah, let's just put that out there. But I've been reading. It's funny because I. I'm feeling a little disconnected with God in the sense that I'm not reading the 20 or 30 minutes that I. That I do every day.
[00:00:54] Speaker A: I'm kind of jumping in and reading and then like bouncing.
[00:00:57] Speaker B: Um, but you can't condemn yourself when you do this kind of stuff, you know, God knows what's going on in your life. God knows you. God knows your heart. It's not about the works, it's not about the Acts. It's just about knowing that God's there and that he loves you. You know what I mean? He's always there for you. He knows every hair on your head. He knows the seat of your distinctive character. He knows your inward thoughts. He knows the things that make you think those thoughts. I mean, he knows everything. And we have a great and loving God. And he talks about that in His Word just everywhere. And I was reading in Psalms 145 and kind of went over a little bit, but I love the heart of David. I will extol the My God, O King, and I will bless thy name forever and ever. Do you bless God? Do you thank him?
[00:01:42] Speaker A: Take time and thank him. He's a good.
[00:01:44] Speaker B: He's just so good. And it's the little details in your life that happen. Verse 2 Every day will I bless thee. And I will praise thy name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised. And his greatness is unsearchable.
God is so. He's so good. And for those of you that have been with God for a while and. And trusting God and just lean on him, you know? You know what David's talking about here. I certainly do. For those of you that are new, it takes time, tribulation worketh, patience, patience, experience. And experience hope, which is the expectation of future good. And hope will never cause you shame, ever.
It's going to take time to go through those trials, to lean on God and to start to see God kind of come through. And it's always on God's timing, too.
He sets the day side by side in order that we find nothing past him. You know, it's on God's timing. That which he makes crooked, you can't make straight.
There's a time and a season for everything. I mean, there's so many things in the word that just intertwine. It's beautiful. It's beautiful. And this is the. This. He lifts and exalts his word over his name. You got to read this stuff, you got to put it in your mind.
Verse 8. The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and of great mercy. And this is something I think, you know, I was, I was praying yesterday. I cuss a lot, to be honest with you. And I was praying yesterday with, with. We were. I was working out with somebody and she was like, you know, you got to pray when you go through this because it's so brutal. And so I start like being funny and like cursing and, you know, get me through this, get me through this, get me through this. And she said something very, very kind of off, off cuff, just, hey, you know, you shouldn't really cuss when you go to God and it's like, you know what? God is full of compassion. God knows your heart.
You know, you don't. You never use the Lord's name. You never use Christ's name in vain. I'll tell you that much. Because that's what God says.
But God, he is full of compassion. He is gracious. It's not about your acts in life. It's about your heart and your heart towards him and knowing that the day that you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, Romans 10, 9 and 10, that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart, that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Period. The day that you, that you call on God, the day that you confess that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior, you have Christ in you, the hope of glory. Nothing that you can do can change that. No acts you can do can change that. And he just. That's what's so beautiful about the Acts. Of. Of what Jesus Christ did for us, or Christ Jesus did for us.
He laid it out that we can live more than abundantly without condemnation, not judging. And it's not judging yourself as well. I judge not mine own self. That's what Paul said.
You live your life for God and you thank him all the time and you bless him continually, knowing that. Verse 8 Again, the Lord is gracious and full of compassion. He is slow to anger and of great mercy. The Lord is good to all and his tender mercies are over all his works. He takes care of his entire creation.
He takes care of everything. And he loves everyone and he loves you. He has a heart towards you.
I mean, he's just. It's just. To be blessed by God is a blessing you can't explain. I am blessed in my life. You are blessed once you turn to him. And you lived it for a while. You know what I mean? It's not a quick thing. It takes time. Verse 14. The Lord upholdeth all that fall and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.
When you're humble to God, God sees you. He sees you all the time. But he. But when you're humble to him, you start to really get to know and understand who God is in your life.
I just extol you today and exhort you. Look on him and be thankful for him and face him and watch your heart melt. Because man, once you hit that spot, that, that spot that, the spot that I'm in, you can't express how beautiful it is. And I've gone through the trials. I promise you that. Have a beautiful day today. Pray the big prayers lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray, you pray to God. You never pray to Jesus Christ. It won't go anywhere. It's not biblical. You pray to God. You lift it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a great day. God bless you and your family.
[00:06:26] Speaker A: And I'll talk to you tomorrow.
[00:06:31] Speaker B: I want to hear it.
I don't have the fear.
Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much.
[00:06:43] Speaker A: Just for everything you do for us. I thank you for the just your loving disposition and your kindness and just how much you take care of. Of the moments. I pray for today that it's a blessed day and that you just protect me driving. I pray for my brother and their whole family that they get healthy again. And my mom, that she gets really, really healthy. I thank you for taking care of us and how you're constantly and actively in our life. And you take care of me and I'M just thankful for all the moments. And I pray for your believers today that you take care of them and for your son and what he did for us. I lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord.
[00:07:18] Speaker B: And Savior Christ Jesus.
