[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, but beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today, and I hope you are excited today because today is the day that the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy, continually give God that sacrifice of praise. Praise him and thank him and be joyful. [00:00:26] Over the weekend, I finally. I went to fellowship. And it's been a long, long time since I've been to something like a fellowship or a home church, essentially, or a church. [00:00:38] And it was just such a blessing to. [00:00:41] To hear the Word and to be. To fellowship and to be around believers and just to sing and, you know, to do all those things. And it's funny because when I. When I do these teachings, you kind of get into a mindset when you. When you hear the music, you know, when I have, like the saying in the beginning and you hear the music, you know, you can kind of roll with it. But I'm starting to get to the point where I know that I should be teaching, like, live. You know what I mean? Where I should. I should do this stuff live, which is a completely different gig. And I was. I was reading over some things today, and there's a verse that hit me that just. [00:01:18] That always kind of flows into the same thing that we've been talking about. And it's about your believing. It's about. It's not about your acts. And God talks about this over and over and over in the Word. It's not about the way that the things that you do, but the things that you do do cause effect. It does have an effect in your life. And this was a great verse. I mean, again, God is so good. Because when you start to kind of read the Word and it's like everything on a certain subject will start popping out at you and you don't even think about it. And that's why the Word is living and will work with you. So if you read every day, you'll know what I'm talking about, because it will start hitting you in different ways. If you go to Hebrews, chapter three, verse seven, it says, wherefore, as the Holy Ghost saith today, if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. And this hardening is to make stiff. It's like the. Stiffen your neck, harden not your hearts. As in the day of provocation, in the day of temptation, in the wilderness, when your Fathers tempted me and proved me and saw my works. 40 years when they left Egypt and when the. When everybody followed Moses and left Egypt, God told them he would bring them to the promised land. And they went into the desert. I don't know if it was a desert or whatever. They went into the. That provocation where they went in there and they had to trust God. And if you think about it from just a primal, in a primal way, they didn't, they didn't believe God. There was no system set up. They were learning everything as Jews and God was nailed. I mean, God said do this and they did the opposite. They get out of there, they build an altar to a bull. I mean, they did. All these things were completely against God. Don't harden your necks as in the day of provocation, in the day of temptation, in the wilderness when their Father's tempted. You tempt God when you walk the other way, there is a tempting verse 9 or verse 10. Wherefore I was grieved with this generation and said they do always err in their heart and they have not known my ways, so why swear in my wrath? They shall not enter into my rest. Now I love this. Resting is ceasing from your own works, as God did from his own. On the seventh day God rested. We are to work to enter into that rest which is later on in the. I think it's in chapter four. [00:03:43] But what's wild about this whole thing is he was grieved with that generation because he told them to do something and they didn't do it. And they stiffened and they hardened their neck and it did the opposite. Verse 12. Take heed, brethren, lest there be any of you with an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God. [00:04:04] You want to know it's evil in God's heart and God's ars. God's eyes is a heart of unbelief. It's not about your acts, it's about your believing. Verse 13. But exhort one another daily while it is called today, lest any of you harden or be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. [00:04:26] So what does sin do? It hardens and stiffens your heart towards God. That's what it does. That's why you don't do it. It's not about your acts so that you can get into heaven because once you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you are righteous. But when you start doing things like quote unquote, sinning against God, it hardens and stiffens you to the things God wants you to do. And that is considered an evil heart. [00:04:53] Verse 14 for we are made partakers of Christ if we hold from the beginning our confidence steadfast into the end. While it is says to. While it said today, if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts as in the provocation. For some, when they did, when they had heard, did provoke. How be it did not all come out of Egypt by Moses. The word shows you about it, helps you see what others have done right. You can look back and say, man, they shouldn't have probably done this, done what they did. They did not get into Egypt because they did not believe what Moses told them about God when he said, go and conquer this, and conquer this and conquer this. They didn't do it because they were afraid of what was in there. The younger generation, after 40 years of believing, the children believed God and went and did. That's what's so wonderful when you start to have a firm reliance on God. God will tell you to do stuff and you go do it. You're not as afraid because you can lean in on him and some things won't even make sense to you or your family or other people. But that's what's so wonderful about the word. Verse 17. But with whom was he grieved 40 years? Was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness, and to whom swear he that they should not enter into his rest? But to them that believe not so we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. [00:06:22] It's about unbelieving this whole world, this whole thing in your life is about getting to know God, to build a relationship with God, to have a firm reliance on what is heard. That's what faith is. Believe ye therefore, and be thankful for what you've been given in this life. Don't act like those in the provocation who didn't even make it to out of the out of the wilderness because they didn't have faith in God. Have faith in what you've been given. Have a beautiful day today. Pray the big prayers. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. Again, when you pray, you pray to God. You lift it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a great day. God bless you and your family and I'll talk to you tomorrow. [00:07:07] And where that foghorn blows, I will be coming home. [00:07:14] Well, heavenly Father, thank you so much just for everything you do and how you cover us. I thank you for and pray that you cover any mistakes I made last week. And that you also take care of what's going on this week, the safety of the travel, that we can get there back and it's a blessing and that everything is safe during that time. I also thank you for just the moments of my life and that you continually provide that which needs provided. I thank you for my family, for my friends, and just the life that you've given me. I lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
