[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today, and I hope you are excited today, because today is the day that the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy, continually give God.
[00:00:22] Speaker B: That sacrifice of praise.
[00:00:23] Speaker A: Praise him and thank him and be joyful.
You know, I keep talking about how I'm. I'm.
[00:00:30] Speaker B: What's the word?
[00:00:31] Speaker A: Little quick to anger, I would say. I have a tendency to hear something, to balk, and then to calm down. I'm not the. I don't really receive criticism all that great, but I was a couple. A couple months ago, I was talking about how, you know, you got to protect. You got. One of the things God says in His Word is to kind of hold your tongue. And I didn't even realize I was doing this, but I had a deposition maybe a month ago, and the. My lawyer told me to stop talking. You know what I mean? And when my lawyer said I was interrupting, not just their lawyer, but my lawyer, I don't know, it just kind of woke me up to being quick to speak something in the word that it tells you not to do. So anytime that I read that, it really is kind of hitting home. Today I was reading In Proverbs, chapter 13, verse 1, it says, A wise son heareth his father's correction. But a scorner heareth not rebuke. A wise son heareth his father's correction. This also applies to the word, God gave us his word. We are considered adopted sons, sons and daughters of God. He gave us his word. This correction, you got to be open to. You got to be open to what God has for you in here. Verse 2. A man shall eat good. And this is what's gained by effort, by the fruit of his mouth. But the soul of transgressors or traitors or the faithful, faithless ones shall eat violence.
What comes out of your mouth produces fruit. What type of fruit are you producing?
Verse 3. He that keepeth or guardeth his mouth, keepeth or guardeth his life or soul. He that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.
If you find yourself being a talker like I am, quick to quick to respond, just be quiet, be quiet and listen to what the other person's saying. And it's a biblical principle. That's what. That's what eats my soul.
It's okay if someone tells I Have a hard time if someone tells me to stop doing something. But if it's God saying it, that's a completely different, different deal. God wants the best for you. There's a reason he puts this stuff in here. If you jump down to verse 10, it says, only or by pride only cometh contention, or debate or strife. But the well advised or the modest is wisdom arguments. Those heated arguments. They. Or it's actually, I'm sorry, contention is not heated. Contention are the little arguments. Those little arguments comes by pride. And it might be your pride or it might be the pride on the other end of the person.
Just be cognizant of that. It's not necessarily the person.
It might have to do something with ego. But if it's your ego, be quick to stop it. Listen to what people say. And again, this is for me, probably listen to this teaching today for myself. Verse 11. Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished. But he that gathereth by labor shall increase. And I always, you know, you talk about the world pushing something else.
The world pushes that. You don't have to work. You need to get into something where you have passive income. If I hear that once, I've heard a million times. But what does God say? Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished. Wealth gotten by the worthlessness shall be diminished. But he that gathereth by labor, by work, by effort shall increase. Hope deferred. And this is so true as well. Hope deferred. It maketh the heart sick. But when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. And the tree of life is that which makes it's. It's continuing the life that God imparted to us.
Hope deferred. The thing that you're looking for and expecting. Like, they get pushed out and pushed out and pushed out. Like for us it was business and success. It makes the heart sick. It's hard when you go through that kind of stuff and you want to give up. But when you receive the things that you. That you ask for, when you receive the things from God, it helps you in life that that which God's given you. The life that God's imparted to you, it makes. It's a wonderful experience.
I want to finish up with this. If you jump over to Proverbs, chapter 14, verse 26, it says in the reverential are in the fear of the Lord. And that's reverential. Awe of the Lord is strong confidence or strong assurance. And his children, which you are, shall have a place of refuge. You shall be protected when you Go to God and you know that God's your God and you stay in that. When you have a God that's behind you because you're constantly there with, I mean he's always behind you. It's not based on your works, but you have to know in your heart that God is a place of refuge. He will protect you. Verse 27. In the fear and that reverential awe of the Lord is a fountain of life to depart or avoid from the snares or the traps of death or ruin God. To have that reverential awe is the beginning of wisdom. To know God and to know that he's there for you, it will protect you in your life.
It's the beginning, the starting point. And once you start to believe and once you start to have that, that faith, that conviction that God is there, it's not just about you alone. Christ died that you can live this life more than abundantly with God. You have that opportunity when you feel that and you know it. And you know that, you know that, you know that you know you have a refuge with God. You are protected. Have a great day today. Again, pray the big prayers or pay. Pray the small prayers. Just pray to God lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. You never pray to, to Jesus Christ. You pray to God. Lifting up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a great day. God bless you and your family. I thought to you tomorrow and where that foghorn blows.
Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much.
[00:06:58] Speaker B: Just for everything you do. I pray that you just continually work with me to just take on the new role in the business and that the other thing that we started, that.
[00:07:08] Speaker A: That goes well and that you show us kind of the next steps in.
[00:07:12] Speaker B: Every moment, that you clean up everything that's going on with that and that it's a blessing. I thank you again for the people we work with and I ask that you just open those doors or close those doors just, just on, on any and all of those situations. I thank you again for the moments of my life and for the family you've given me and for the people you've surrounded me with and where we live. And I'm just very, very grateful for the, the time, Father. I thank you for your son and I lift everything up to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
