[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. [00:00:02] Speaker B: Good morning. [00:00:02] Speaker A: How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? [00:00:06] Speaker B: I hope you're having a great day today, and I hope you are excited. [00:00:09] Speaker A: Today, because today is the day that the Lord hath made. [00:00:12] Speaker B: We will be glad. [00:00:13] Speaker A: We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. [00:00:19] Speaker B: Be thankful. [00:00:20] Speaker A: Be happy. [00:00:21] Speaker B: Continually give God that sacrifice of praise. [00:00:24] Speaker A: Praise him. Thank him. [00:00:26] Speaker B: Be joyful. Be joyous. [00:00:28] Speaker A: So recently I've started to really work the Word in the sense that I. [00:00:32] Speaker B: Want to understand what it means that Christ is Lord or Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. [00:00:39] Speaker A: What does that Lord mean? [00:00:40] Speaker B: What does that look like? [00:00:42] Speaker A: And this whole thing kind of came about because I grew up in this. [00:00:44] Speaker B: Stuff, you know what I mean? [00:00:46] Speaker A: Like, I grew up believing that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I believe that he was raised from the dead, Romans 10, 9, 10. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart, that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. So I did that as a kid, and I was brought up in this stuff. So I believe this stuff. I always have. But I've never really broke it down in my life. Like, what does it mean? [00:01:09] Speaker B: That Christ is Lord. [00:01:10] Speaker A: Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I was always super focused on the New Testament, right? Romans, through Thessalonians, because that's written to us. Now you have the old administration, the administration of laws, where they were learning what was right, what was wrong, they the sin, what was sinning, what was not sinning, what was the result of that, the Sabbath, all that stuff. And then you had Christ administration. Once Jesus Christ died, that new administration, we're living in the administration of grace. And that's Romans through Thessalonians. But I still want to. But I still really want to understand what this. This Lord is like. What does it mean? And I was. So I've been really going back and forth, but I read this today, and this really blessed me. If you go to John, chapter 15, verse 1, it says, I am the real vine, the true vine, and my father is the husbandman or farmer or a cultivator. Every branch that's in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh away. Now, I always thought that that was, like, removed every branch, it's in Christ Jesus. Once you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you're part of that vine. As he's going through this parable, you're part of that vine. But every branch that's not. That doesn't believe. He taketh away. That's actually not what it means. It's raiseth up. If you think about a vine tree, a grape tree, if you have. And this just happened. So I have a. I know I can actually visualize this. If you have a grapevine that's next to a. Like some sort of something, it can rise up, like crawl up. It can rise up. If you don't kind of stake that thing up to the wood and allow it to rise, raise it off the ground and allow it to rise, it will always stay a little like nub. Once you've kind of connected it, those. This. These vines will just grow up that thing like you wouldn't believe. And that's what he does. For those of you that believe in the name of Jesus Christ and are born new, spiritually new, and are part of the body of believers and have confessed in the name of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, let's say you're one of those little nubs that hasn't. That doesn't know where to grow, hasn't grown. If you're there, he will raise you up, he will attach you to that piece of wood and you will grow. But you got to put your mind into this stuff. I am the true vine, and my father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he raiseth up, he taketh away. And every branch that beareth fruit, he chasteneth it or purges it. Purges it that it may bring forth more fruit. If you've been a believer for a while or if you feel like you're just getting nailed right now, it's all for the glory of God. It's all to show you that next thing how to move. Like the changes in your life. I mean, I was absolutely pummeled, but I learned to really change my mind and start reading this stuff and believing it and changing the things in my thoughts. My brother was just talking about how the beginning thereof is better or the. The end thereof is better than the beginning thereof. And that's biblical. That's in the Word. And that verse always hit him because when he's going through struggle, he knows at the end of the thing is going to be better. It goes with kids, it goes with life. It goes with starting a business. But if you start to put this stuff in your mind in times of trouble, the Word, the true word, not what the man teaches, but what God teaches. When you know this stuff for yourself, you understand what I'm talking about. You put these words in your mind and you change your thoughts. And that's what this is saying. Every branch in me that beareth forth. I'm sorry. Every branch in me that beareth not forth, he taketh away or raise it up. And every branch that beareth fruit, every one of you that's doing well and really working with God, he cleanseth or purcheth or chasteneth it that it may bring forth more fruit, he's going to purge it. He's going to cut off the little branches so you can keep on going up. Now, ye are clean on account of the word which I have spoken to you. We are righteous. And that's what he's going over with these people, with the Judeans, with the Gentiles. Like, you have to understand, we are righteous. Right now you are upright in God's eyes. And everything you're going through in life is to get you to start to recognize that God is in your life. He sets the day side by side in order that for the purpose of. We find nothing past him. So if you're going through it, yeah, he's. He's chasing you. He's purging the. He's working on you to get to know him more. And if you're not doing anything, you can't figure out how to get off the ground. You get your nose in this stuff, you start to read it, and he will raise you up. He's going to raise you off that, that. That ground. He's going to put you on the vine, and you're going to. Or not the vine, the tree, and you're just going to grow like crazy. No matter where you are in your life, you got to understand that God is with you, that you have Christ Jesus with you, that you have the spirit of truth. Once you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, the comforter, the Holy Spirit, the new mahogion, the Spirit from on high, you have a company of angels surrounding you. This life is just about you and God. And if you want. If you start to recognize that and give him the glory and go to him in all thy ways, he in all thy ways, acknowledge him and he shall direct thy path. You're gonna start to see the goodness of God in your life. It just takes a little bit of time or maybe it's right away. It just depends on the person. That's it. Have a beautiful day today. Pray. The big prayers lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray, you pray to God, not to Jesus Christ. It doesn't go anywhere. If you pray to Jesus Christ, you pray to God. You lift it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a great day. God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow. [00:07:23] Speaker B: Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much for today. And just for everything that's going on, I just ask that you take away. [00:07:30] Speaker A: That sick feeling I have about yesterday. [00:07:34] Speaker B: And just cover it. Father, I thank you that we can go to you and you cover everything that's going on in our life. And thank you for the, you know, the all things work together for good verse that is just a blessing. Father, I thank you for the people. [00:07:47] Speaker A: That we work with that you continually. [00:07:49] Speaker B: Help them and give them whatever it is they need. And the people that I'm. That I'm around, that you continually just bless them. I thank you for each and every one of our customers that they're taken care of and for the fellowship that you just bless those people. Father and I just thank you for a great day today. And I lift everything up to you in the name my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
