[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, but youtiful day?
[00:00:07] Speaker B: I hope you're having a great day.
[00:00:08] Speaker A: Today, and I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy, continually give God.
[00:00:22] Speaker B: That sacrifice of praise. Praise him and thank him.
[00:00:25] Speaker A: I'm still working on this Lord thing and, you know, I was thinking about how the words, you know, if you have somebody that you work with that's over you, or if you have ever played a sport, there's always somebody that's the leader of that sport or the leader within the company.
And you either like that person or.
[00:00:44] Speaker B: You don't like that person.
[00:00:46] Speaker A: You either want to follow that person or you liked what they say and you like how they act. And therefore you're willing to go there or you don't.
And I was thinking about how it was through one man, Christ Jesus is our Lord and Savior. Right? Well, what does he say? You know, I mean, like, what makes him? What, why follow him?
Why decide that he's Lord and Savior in your heart and all these things? Like, I've really been kind of, I don't know, juggling. Because when I grew up, I've always grown up believing this stuff.
I've always been Christian. I've always been born again. I've always believed it, but I was always kind of. I kind of just brushed over that stuff. I was more interested in, like now, right now, now that I believe in the name of Jesus Christ, what happens? So I've been kind of going back and I was reading today some words that Christ said. And if you go to John, chapter 5, verse 24, it says, verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word and believeth on him that sent me, as in God hath everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation, or shall not come into judgment, but is passed from death unto life.
There's a lot of things that happen. Christ was speaking, and he performed all these miracles because God gave him the ability to do that.
Said he was going to die for the people. Died for the people. Raised. Was raised up.
Three days he died. He was dead. Was raised up. But he was raised up in a new spiritual being. He's the second Adam, the new spiritual being that we are.
So he was proved by the people, by those who saw it. And the rest of it is a testimony of his works.
And then the New Testament comes because you have the power from on high. You have the new spiritual. You're the new spiritual being. And all the new revelation came after Christ came.
But what he says here is verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word.
What he was saying was different from what the laws said.
It's different if you go into it talks about like a bill of divorcement. They had like written laws of the bill of divorcement. Like, what does that mean? Then Christ said, no, it's this and fornication. What does that mean? That Christ said, no, it's this. And what does it mean to. To judge other people? I mean, he. He went through it and was. Was opening up more information.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word and believeth on him that sent me and believes on God hath everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto life.
Verse 25. Verily, verily, I say unto you, the hour is coming and now is when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God. And and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself, so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself, and hath given him authority to execute judgment also because he is the Son of man.
I just love the fact that when he spoke, he didn't speak of himself, he spoke of God.
That God gave him the authority.
That God gave him the authority because he is His Son.
But what I love is that everything Christ said went back to God. If you jump over to verse 30, I can of myself do nothing as I hear. I judge and my judgment is just. God gave him the ability. God put him and set him as the head to judge. But he does nothing of himself as he hears. He gives judgment as God tells him he gives judgment. I can. I can do of.
I can of mine own self do nothing as I hear. I judge and my judgment is just because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
Everything in his life was set up to do the will of His Father.
What type of. I just think it's beautiful. Because if you. If you want to believe in God and you know that, you know that there is a God and that His Son came and died for us in order that we can live in the liberty.
And it's easy to follow because all he does is talk about God.
I can do nothing of myself but the will of God. I don't even speak unless God tells me to speak.
He was such an example to the believers. He's such an example to you. Once you have and once you believe in the name of Jesus Christ and you have the new spiritual being, it is so easy to go to God, but it's so. It's so difficult to do it when you don't think about it.
Because if you haven't set God first, number one in your life, you're lost.
You are absolutely lost. Because if you are walking around in fear, that is not out from the origins of God. I'm also not talking about walking out in front of a train.
There's sense. God gave us mind, God gave us body, God gave us spirit.
It's about turning your life and focusing on what matters. And Christ is the first example of that.
There's examples in the word of people who believe, but he was the first one who. He's the only son of God. He's the first one that did it without sin and died for you that you can live free.
And the New Testament came to explain to us that it's no longer about the laws. You, you don't have to focus your life about the laws. You focus your life on the relationship with God.
Grace, which is that that loving disposition, the undeserved favor that you have, and peace, which is the state of undisturbed well being, will make you full, will fill you up through the instrument of the epignosis. Having a true and personal relationship with God, where you hear from him and you heed his advice and his son, Christ Jesus.
That's what it's about.
You have to change your mind. And once you're born again, man, you are born a son of God. You are now sitting on the right hand of Christ Jesus. It's a wonderful place to be. It's just a matter of focusing on it and setting it first in your life. Pray the big prayers today.
Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. Again, when you pray, you pray to God, never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a great day. God bless you j your family and.
[00:07:14] Speaker B: I'll talk to you tomorrow.
[00:07:25] Speaker A: Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much.
[00:07:27] Speaker B: Just for everything you do for us and how you do it. I'm very, very grateful for the time that you've given me. I pray for just a great day today. I'm thankful that I'm finally losing weight.
[00:07:38] Speaker A: I'm grateful for that and that you showed me how. I also pray for all those that.
[00:07:42] Speaker B: Are suffering, especially John, that you just take care of his back and.
Yeah, I just pray for your people and just. That you just continually take care of them. I thank you that you do, and we can rely on that. And I thank you for your son and that he died for us in order that we can live this way. And I just lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.
