[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning.
[00:00:02] Speaker B: Good morning.
[00:00:03] Speaker A: How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day.
[00:00:08] Speaker B: Today and I hope you are excited.
[00:00:10] Speaker A: Today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy.
[00:00:21] Speaker B: Continually give God that sacrifice.
[00:00:23] Speaker A: Praise.
[00:00:24] Speaker B: Praise him and thank him.
So today I got up and, you.
[00:00:29] Speaker A: Know, we have this. I have to give you a little.
[00:00:31] Speaker B: Bit of a background.
[00:00:33] Speaker A: We have our normal business, which we.
[00:00:35] Speaker B: Have been doing for 15 years. And we have this new business we just started. And I'm like a sprinter, right?
[00:00:41] Speaker A: I'm not a great long distance runner. So when I get into something, I go after it.
And the funny part with the first business, this business we've had for 15 years is it was a marathon. And it's been a marathon and it's been this slow grind.
If I'd have known it was going.
[00:00:56] Speaker B: To be like this, I would have been.
[00:00:59] Speaker A: I'm not sure I would have been able to do it. But God, you know, will work with you. And he knows who I am. He knows my heart, and he just kind of slowly brought us down this path. And we're doing this other business and it's like fire and it's really, really fast and it's like totally my speed.
But today I got online, started looking at some stuff and realized there's a. I gotta get back to the other business. There's some stuff that I need to do that's gonna be a grind.
And immediately you want to freak. I just want to be like, you know, I want to freak out. Like, do I have the energy? Do I have the ability to organize? Do I have the ability to, you know, do all these things? And the thing is, is that God has. And God gives you the ability.
God gives you the ability. I trust that God was going to help me out through this and give me the strength. So I'm definitely going to be praying for the strength, definitely going to be praying for the organizational aptitude to do it, to show me how to do this so that we can start beating people again. I mean, honestly, it's competition so you can start winning again.
And, you know, it's daunting.
It's daunting. I don't want to do it.
I don't want to do it. But you have to. You know what I mean? You have to. And you got to go to God. And as you do this Stuff. And as you work with God in these types of situations, you start to build faith. This isn't the first time this has happened. There's been a thousand times before this.
And being able to lean on God and knowing that God is there for you is a blessing. So all these things are going on in my head and whatever, and I literally opened the Bible this morning, and this is what I land on. This is what I land on. And this is such a blessing. And listen to the heart of this guy. Listen to the heart of David in chapter 23 of David or David, chapter 23 of Psalms. The Lord is my shepherd and I shall not want.
He maketh me lie down in green pastures. He leadeth me beside the still waters.
It almost makes me want to cry. It really does. Because the comfort I feel for that. The Lord is going to shepherd me to the place where I need to go. And it's not just in business, it's in life.
It's in life. And how loving is it that when I open it up, this is what I land on.
Verse 3. He restoreth my soul. He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff are thy comfort for me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies. Thou anointest my head with oil. My cup runneth over even in the midst of enemies. God's going to take care of you. He's going to. He's going to anoint you. It's just the love that. The love that is in here and the reverential. All that David had for God. And to recognize what God. What God does for you, like, even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, like we're all going to pass. I'm not going to fear evil.
I'm not going to fear mine enemies because God is with me.
Verse 6. Surely goodness and mercy, and that mercy is that act of compassion shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Do you believe God's active compassion is with you? It's active and it's compassionate, and he has compassion for you, even if you've done wrong. And that's the thing where people, I believe, get tripped up.
Even if you're doing wrong, even if you're blowing it, even if you're doing things, you know that. You know that you know are wrong.
You still have God. He is infinitely, infinitely compassionate.
He gives you away always and he loves you regardless.
And sometimes you just need to hear it and sometimes you need to believe it. And there's. That's why it's so beautiful to be able to read people before us that have gone through the same struggles we've gone through and see their heart. And where is your heart towards God? Like, where do you sit in this? Where do you fall in your life? Where. Where are you in this stuff?
Verse 20 or chapter 25? Unto thee, O Lord, I do lift up my soul. Oh my God, I trust in Thee, I confide in Thee, I have confidence in Thee. Let me not be ashamed or put to sh. Let not mine enemies triumph over me. Yet let none that wait on thee be ashamed. Let them be ashamed was transgressed without cause.
He's praying for those people like all that wait on you. Don't let them be ashamed. You're not going to be ashamed when you come to God. And that's why that hope, that expectation of future good will never cause trait will never cause shame ever.
You don't have to blush. You're never going to blush believing in God.
You're never going to blush. You're never going to feel shame knowing that God's going to take care of you. And I'm a result of that. I'm a testimony of that.
David's a testimony of that. Once you get to the point where you can believe in your life that God will take care of you in every situation and in dumb situations that mean nothing, like figuring out SEOs for three different websites that mean nothing. In a scheme of life, God's gonna be there for me. God's gonna be there for you. And you just gotta recognize it. I was talking about this, and I'm gonna finish up with this. It's like getting a key and turning on a car.
You know, you can sit in a car, in the car, the vehicle's worth nothing, but the minute you turn it on, you can go somewhere quickly. And it's the same thing with God.
It's the same thing. You have the keys to turn the car on. You know, I mean, it's believing, having a firm reliance that God will provide, God will take care of. And these words, the verses that are in here, God's spoken word reconnects you to him and reconnects your thought to the good that we need to have.
You got to choose in your life what you think on. You got to choose in your life. What you believe. You got to choose in your life what to dwell on. Are you going to dwell in fear or are you going to dwell in what God tells you? I am always there for you. I will be your God. I give you the ability. I give you the cause to effect.
It's the ability to affect.
[00:07:06] Speaker B: It's wonderful.
[00:07:06] Speaker A: Pray the big prayers today lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. It's biblical. I'm going to say that over and.
[00:07:11] Speaker B: Over and over again.
[00:07:12] Speaker A: When you pray, you never pray to Jesus Christ. It doesn't go anywhere. It doesn't matter what you've been taught. It's not biblical. You pray to God and you lift it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a great day. God bless you and your family and I'll talk to you tomorrow.
And where that foghorn blows.
Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much just for everything you do.
[00:07:39] Speaker B: Thank you for knowing me and knowing my heart and knowing like when I need help and strength.
[00:07:46] Speaker A: Father, I thank you for your word.
[00:07:47] Speaker B: And how much of a blessing it is. I thank you for your believers that you just bless them and take care of them, for the ability that you give each and every one of us and the ability that you've given me, my brother, my sister in law, I mean my mom, I mean, I'm so thankful for that building that we just received, Father, in the state it's in.
[00:08:05] Speaker A: I pray for each one of our.
[00:08:06] Speaker B: Employees that you just take care of them and bless them and if there's anything I need to do, you put that on my heart. And just for the people, for the business, for the health of the business. He showed me again these next steps and give me the strength to get through it.
And yeah, I just thank you for each and every moment. I lift everything up to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
