Pray and talk to God – Numbers 11:5-15, 1 Peter 5:6-7 Numbers 11:5-15 7 And the manna was as coriander seed, and the colour thereof as the colour of bdellium. 8 And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil. 9 And when the dew fell upon the camp in the night, the manna fell upon it. 10 Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door […]

[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today, and I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful. Be ye happy. Continually Give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank him. I'm gonna be in and out all next week, so I think I'm gone Monday, maybe Tuesday. I'm definitely gone Friday. [00:00:30] It's a lot. Lot's going on, but I was traveling yesterday, and I was. You know, sometimes you go through these waves. I don't know really what is going on where I'm. I'm not as mentally focused when I read, I would say. And so in these times, I like to find teachers that I trust, that I believe, know the Word and have a great understanding for the Word. And I listen to them. And it. It's amazing how much of a blessing it is to really hear the Word. And if you're not reading the Word for yourself, I suggest to start. Start with Romans 1. Read it over and over and over again until you understand it. It might take a month of reading it every single day, but it will start to click once you start to understand the King James version, the language of it, because once you start to read it for yourself, it's going to do tremendous things in your life. [00:01:17] And this morning when I was reading, when I was listening to this teaching, I just. I just love this. I keep thinking about my buddy that that's been praying and crying out to God. Every time he has a negative thought, every time he has a thought he doesn't like, he's going. He's praying to God. And he was complaining about how much he's been praying. And he's like, man, God does not want to hear this. [00:01:35] So for some reason, every time I read any believer that's crying out to God, I think of him. And this morning I was reading or listening to numbers. Chapter 11. It says, we remember the fish which we did eat in Egypt freely, and the cucumbers and the melons and the leeks and the onions and the garlic. But now our soul is dried away. There is nothing at all besides this manna before our eyes. Now, you have to understand, this is when they left Egypt. This is when God moved the children of Israel out of Egypt. And they were in the wilderness 40 years, and all they ate was manna. So they're. They're going back and they're saying, we remember the fish that we used to eat. We remember the cucumbers and the melons and the leeks and the onions. But now all we're eating is this manna. [00:02:22] Now again, Moses was the head of these people. You know, he's the one that was communicating with God. He was the one that was leading the ship here. Verse 10. Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families. Every man in the door of his tent. And the anger of the Lord was kindled greatly. Moses also was displeased. And Moses said unto the Lord, wherefore hast thou afflicted thy servant? And wherefore have I not found favor in thy sight that thou layest the burden of all this people upon me? So they're complaining to him about, why haven't we eaten anything Like, I mean, can you imagine an entire nation complaining to you over and over? Why are we eating this? I mean, I think about. [00:03:05] Well, I'm not even go there. Verse verse 12. [00:03:09] Have I conceived all this people? Have I begotten them that. That thou shouldest say unto me, carry them in thy bosom as a nursing father beareth the suckling child unto the land which thou swearest unto their fathers? When should I have flesh to give unto all this people? When can I have meat to give to these people? For they weep unto me saying, give us flesh or give us meat that we may eat. I think this is hilarious. He's taking the burden on, and he's not complaining about the manna. He's not the one complaining to God. All the people are complaining to him. And he's fed up. He's had enough. And he's saying, am I the person who has these people? Am I the person who created this nation? [00:03:51] No, no, I haven't done anything like, why are you laying this burden upon me? And I think we all go through this with God. [00:03:59] But look at where he's talking about. He's not complaining to other people. He's going to God. [00:04:05] Why am I dealing with this? [00:04:07] Verse 13. When should I have flesh to give unto this people? Like, when am I going to have this. This. This meat for that they may eat? Verse 14. I am not able to bear all this people alone because it is too heavy for me. And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of thy hand if I have found favor in thy sight, and let me not see my wretchedness. [00:04:34] He had had it enough that he's saying, Kill me. [00:04:38] Take this off. If this is the thing you're serving me, if this is what I'm dealing with, get rid of this. Remove it from me. [00:04:46] Everybody goes through trials and tribulations. Everybody goes through stuff. This is a guy who, for generations, people talk about Moses. This is Moses complaining to God. Get rid of me. I don't want to deal with this. We all go through it, but where does he go? He goes to God. And God's the one that's going to come through. God's the one that's going to take care of you. Every single. There's a verse in here which I don't know where it is right now, but there's a verse in here that talks about, like, everybody goes through this stuff. It's not just you. [00:05:20] It's not just you. I want to finish up in Peter, verse chapter five. First Peter, chapter five, verse seven. [00:05:27] Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God that He may exalt you in due time. In his due time. [00:05:34] It's his time. It's his seasons. He decides the time. He decides the seasons. Verse 7. Casting all your care upon him, for he careth for you in all thy ways. Acknowledge him and he shall direct thy path. It's his time and his season. That which he hath made crooked for man cannot make straight. [00:05:57] It's a blessing. No, I just think it's hilarious that everybody's going through it. Like, I can't handle these people. I can't handle this burden. And yet God came through and look at the result. [00:06:09] Us. [00:06:11] Like the millions of stars of his children, us. We are the result of a man's trials. [00:06:18] We are the result of Christ Jesus taking on our stuff and dying for us. We're the result of that. [00:06:26] You can go to God in all things. Cry out to Him. Cast your cares upon Him. Let him know what's going on. Complaining to your friends isn't going to do anything. [00:06:35] Going to God will. [00:06:38] God is the supplier and the source of all power in this. In this cosmos, in this arrangement. That's. That's why I go to him. [00:06:47] And nothing's too great for God. [00:06:49] Pray the small prayers, pray the big prayers. Let him know what's happening in your life when you pray. You always pray to God, never to Jesus Christ. You don't pray to Jesus Christ, it won't go anywhere because you pray to God the Father, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a great day. God bless you and your family. And I'll talk to you tomorrow. [00:07:13] Yeah. When the foghorn breaks, I wanna hear it. [00:07:20] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much for today. I thank you for. I mean thank you that today goes well, that I can get everything strapped and reloaded in the truck and then Sunday we have a good trip. [00:07:33] I thank you for my brother that you continually get him back to 100% and just how you take care of us. I cast all the cares and all the burden about the finances and do you just continually do what you do and I'm very, very grateful for the position you put us in. I pray for those that work with us. You continually take care of them and you just figure out this whole thing with the broken foot. Father and I just thank you for the moments of my life and for everything you do for us, for all your believers that you just take care of them and bless them and. And for a great day. I lift everything up to you in the name of my Lord and savior Christ Jesus.
