[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning.
[00:00:02] Speaker B: How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today.
[00:00:07] Speaker A: I hope you are excited today, because.
[00:00:10] Speaker B: Today is the day that the Lord hath made.
[00:00:12] Speaker A: We will be glad.
[00:00:12] Speaker B: We will rejoice in it.
[00:00:14] Speaker A: Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful. Be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank him.
[00:00:24] Speaker B: I've got.
[00:00:25] Speaker A: I've been reading a lot. There's this. There's this new thing I'm on right now, which are the figures of speech and that kind of change.
God marked His Word by figures of speech.
[00:00:34] Speaker B: It's the way he emphasizes things.
[00:00:37] Speaker A: If you think about it, the way. If you speak, you can do hand gestures or you can raise your voice, or there's all these different things you can do. And in God's Word, he uses figures of speech. And I never knew that. I mean, I knew there were figures of speech, but I didn't. I didn't really study it. It's interesting because if you emphasize thoughts that aren't thoughts that God emphasizes, you're kind of pushing.
You're kind of pushing your own will.
And there's just a lot of stuff today, like we're reading Ecclesiastes, and there's just a couple verses in there that God emphasized through these figures of speech that. I mean, I just love it. One of my favorites is In Much Wisdom comes Much Sorrow.
A lot of people that you don't realize that the more you know, the more you understand, especially with God's Word, the more sorrow there is because you see the world and how messed up it is.
And knowing that God, God, that which is crooked cannot be made straight. That which is numbered can't be one.
[00:01:33] Speaker B: One thing.
[00:01:33] Speaker A: Like, you're never gonna change that. But you can change your life, and you can change the things in your life. You start looking that way and just knowing and having that empathy for people. Like, all you have to do is start reading the Word and believing it, and it will change, and it will Change your life 1000%. But I wanted to go into this this morning.
If you go to First Thessalonians, chapter one.
No, it's actually chapter two, verse 13. It says, for this cause also, we.
For this cause also thank we God without ceasing. Because when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as. As it is in truth. The word of God which effectually worketh also in you that believe. And this is made energetic when you hear the word of God, it effectually works in you, it makes you energetic to those that believe.
Believing is having a firm conviction. And faith is believing or having a firm conviction in that which you hear.
When you hear the word of God, that's the, the effect of energizes you and it really straightens your mind out. Now there is an account of this in chapter 17 of Acts, verse. Well, we'll do verse 10. It says, and the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea, whose coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.
These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, the people in Berea, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind and searched the Scriptures daily whether those things were so.
Therefore many of them believed.
The result of searching the Scripture and testing the word of God is believing, having that firm conviction. And once you start to believe and once you start to have faith, which is believing in what you hear and you have that conviction, the whole world, the whole life, life and all of its manifest manifestations opens up unto you.
I want to just finish up. Well, actually, you know what? I'm not going to finish up that. If you go to Hebrews chapter 4 and it's verse 12, it says, Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. For the spoken word of God is living, or quick and powerful and sharper above any two edged sword, passing through even the act of dividing of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner or skilled in judging of the thoughts which are the secret motives and the emotional revolvings of the mind and the intense. And that is what is in the mind of, of the heart, which is the seed of your distinctive character and the things that you think about.
God's word cuts through all that.
And the more you hear it and the more you believe it, the more accurate you start to walk in the faith in the, in the sense you start to face God.
You start to walk in that spiritual nature. And that is life in all of its manifestations. That is life. Life.
You can't have life unless you're walking with believing in the Spirit. And I'm going to finish up with this. If you go to Galatians, chapter five, in this verse one, I just. This is one of my favorite verses.
Stand fast therefore, or stand firm therefore in the liberty, which is the freedom to go where one wants, wherewith Christ hath made us free and be not entangled again with the yoke or the weight of bondage which is servitude to the law.
This, the word of God gives you freedom, stand in that freedom. But you can't know freedom. You can't know your rights and you can't know the things that God's done for you if you don't know the word.
And it's a wonderful, beautiful word and it builds you up and it gives you believing.
We, we live in a great administration. Christ died that we can live this way. And I'm just very thankful for that. Pray the big prayers today. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. Again, when you pray, you always pray to God, never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ with that sacrifice of thanksgiving. Have a great day. I thank you again for the moments of my life, the business that we can get done with what needs to get done and that the next three, four months that we can just knock everything out and that our customers are just blessed and that you cover any of any faults that we any missteps.
