God didn’t give you a spirit of fear – 2 Timothy 1:7, Philippians 4:13, Philippians 2:12-13 2 Timothy 1:7 7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear (cowardice); but of power (dynamis – inherent power, CAPABILITY of anything, ABILITY to perform anything; then absolutely, not metered power capable of action), and of love (love irrespective of rights), and of a sound mind (making sober minded; entire, unbroken, whole, perfect). Philippians 4:13 13 I can do all things (am strong for all) through (remaining within) Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 2:12-13 12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not […]

[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on another fine, fine, beautiful day. I hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today. [00:00:10] Yes. Today is a day that the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank him. Be joyful. Be joyous. I'm. [00:00:26] I've been working on this spirit, this inherent power thing. Super interesting because it's inherent power. It's power that you have, or that one has when he believes in the name of Jesus Christ and you're baptized with the Holy Spirit, you're born new. But if you don't utilize it and use it, you just have it. It's no different than maybe a car with horsepower. [00:00:50] If you're not pushing that gas pedal, it's not moving. Doesn't mean you don't have it. You have it. And it's the same thing with this dunamis, this inherent power. But there's a couple verses that I was reading that really brought me joy this morning. [00:01:05] Second Timothy, verse one, or chapter one, verse seven. It says, for God hath not given us a spirit of fear or of cowardice. [00:01:15] If you're feeling that fear or cowardice that does not come from God, you can't forget that you are given Holy Spirit, but instead you're given one. A spirit of power, inherent power and of love and of a sound mind. And there's these three words are amazing. The power again, it's the natural capabilities, the capability of anything. It's the ability to perform anything then. Absolutely not merely power capable of action, but. But power in action. [00:01:47] You have the ability to do a lot of stuff. There's nine manifestations or nine unveilings of things that you can do. The second one is love. And this is love irrespective of rights. In the New, in the New Testament. In the New Testament, this word love, it's godly love and it didn't exist before the New Testament. [00:02:11] It's the highest form of love. It's a love irrespective of rights. It's. And then finally of a sound mind. And that's making sober minded entire, unbroken, whole and perfect. [00:02:23] God gave you the Spirit, the Holy Spirit, the pneumagyom gave you the spirit not to fear, but of inherent power, the ability to do anything, of love, that godly love and of a sound mind, which is that which is sober minded or perfected. You have all those things right. Now if you jump over to Philippians chapter 4, verse 13, it says I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me, or imparted strength unto me. If you're in a point in your life where you're freaking out and you don't know what to do, you go to God. You pray to God, knowing that you have Christ in you, the hope of glory. [00:03:07] You have the spiritual ability in you. Right now, immediately, the minute you believe in the name of Jesus Christ and confess, you are baptized in Holy Spirit and it's a wonderful baptism. It's not baptism of water, it's the new baptism. [00:03:25] I want to finish up with this. If you go to Philippians chapter 2, verse 13, I'm going to do verse 12 actually. Wherefore my beloved, as ye have always obeyed. Not much in my presence only, but now much more in my absence. [00:03:38] Work out or affect or achieve your own safety, your own salvation with fear and trembling. You got to work out this stuff with God. You're going to go through ups, you're going to go through downs, tribulation. Work with patience, patience, experience and experience. Hope. The expectation of future good and hope will never cause shame. You're going to go through this stuff. But when you learn to rely on God, pray to God, work in that, Work in that zone, stay in that lane. You're going to get to a point where no matter what's going on, you're not shaken because God did not give you a spirit of fear. [00:04:13] Verse 13. For it is God which forms in you by labor or worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure or his desired pleasure. For it is God. It's God working in you both to will. And this is the emotional will to do and to work or do the labor, the thing that's provided of his desired pleasure. [00:04:38] God's working in you daily. It's Holy Spirit. [00:04:42] That's what he gave. He gave you the gift of Holy Spirit. And we're just. It's a tremendous time to live. And if you're going through a time of struggle, know that God strength. [00:04:51] I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Because it's Christ in you the hope of glory. [00:04:58] You got to renew and renovate your mind to what the Word says. And you got to stand and walk out on that because you're not going to live in fear if you do so, even if the world. I mean, it's amazing the amount of thoughts you can have during the day that are negative and apart from God. But when you focus on God and turn towards God and catch those thoughts, bringing all thoughts to Christ, you're going to renew and renovate your mind to where you're not in a state of fear. Because God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of inherent power and of love and of a sound mind. You are completed right now. Have a beautiful day today. Pray the big prayers, pray the small prayers. Lift them up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray, you always pray to God. You never pray to Jesus Christ. It won't go anywhere. You pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. And have a beautiful day. I'll talk to you tomorrow. [00:05:56] And when the foghorn blues, I wanna hear it. [00:06:03] I don't have the fear. [00:06:08] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much just for everything you do for us. I pray for today that the things that need to get done, get done. That you organize my. [00:06:17] You organize and kind of direct my steps and get everything to the point and also give me a expectation that's reasonable so I'm not stressing out and the people that we work with aren't stressed and not as a result. I thank you again for the moments of my life, of my family, for the business, for the fellowship that we have and the men's fellowship thing we've got going on right now. I thank you for that and for just each and every one of your believers, that you take care of them, that you bless them, and that we can really enjoy this time of year. And I lift everything up to you in the name of my Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus. [00:07:12] Sa.
