[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful morning? I hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that we have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank him. Be joyful. Be joyous if you can. I'm trying to maintain I'm still in the man. I'm just. It's like waves of freaking out. I don't know. I don't even know why.
[00:00:34] Speaker A: But, yeah, I'm just. I'm just losing my mind. And these are the times again, you got to go to God. Got to go to God. God did not give us the spirit of fear, but of something and of something and of a sound mind, gave us authority, gave us also the inherent power that we have a holy Spirit. He gave us all sorts of things. And we are also translated into the kingdom of His Son. You're not even out from the origins of this place. We are ambassadors here.
It's just hard sometimes, you know, it's to be real. Even if you. Even if you know all the Word and you. And you can recite it, it doesn't mean you're not going to go through those times in your life where you're freaking out. You got to learn to renovate your mind, to renew your mind to what the Word says. Knowing that God's there for you, knowing that you have a company of angels around you, knowing that Christ Jesus, you're in his kingdom. You know, there's so many things that you can take comfort in, but you gotta know the Word and you gotta hear the Word. Faith is believing specifically what you hear. So you have to hear it, you have to believe, which is having a firm reliance or conviction. And even if it's one verse, get on it and sit there and just put it in your mind. Don't let it go.
Now. I was reading this morning in Hebrews, chapter three, verse one, it says, wherefore, holy brethren, and we are all part of that brotherhood.
If you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you're a son of God called, summoned before the foundations of the earth. Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling. Consider the apostle and high priest of our profession, Christ Jesus, who was faithful to him, to God that appointed him as also Moses was faithful in all his house, for this man was counted worthy of More glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honor than the house for every house that is builded by some man. But he that built all things is God. God built a household, and, and he appointed. He gave Christ the rulership and authority of that house.
[00:02:43] Speaker A: Christ is the head of the body, the body of believers. Once you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you are part of that calling, that summoning, and he is the head of that body. Now, if you are, if you have been, or if you are the head of your household, you understand this fully. You take care of your family. You take care of every single person in it.
You watch over them, you shepherd them.
Any type of. Anytime there's a situation, even if there's faults, even if there's a mistake, it doesn't matter. You take care of them. And Christ is the head of our body, of the body of believers. He. He directs where everything's going. Now you have God who's at the top, you know, the Creator who created all things. You have his Son, Christ Jesus. And then you have us, who's right next to him. God set it up that there's. We sit in conjunction with Christ. We sit right next to Christ with all authority and all power. We have power, which is inherent power, Holy Spirit and authority, which is the liberty and the right to use that power.
We have that right now.
Verse 6. But Christ as a son over his own house. Which house are we? This coming up. Whose house are we if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end?
You have to know you're part of the household of Christ.
You have to know where you are, the authority you have. That's why it talks about being an ambassador.
Being an ambassador. If you're from another country and you're an ambassador in, you know, some other country, you are still under the laws and the rulership of your own country. You're just sojourning, you're just to that. You're just there for a moment.
But you are under the laws and the rulership of your own country. While you're in another land, it's the same thing. Here.
We are all under Christ's household.
Verse 7.
Wherefore, as the holy Ghost saith, or the Holy Spirit saith, Now this is. This is going to go back. This is going to talk about what. What was going on in Egypt when, When God moved. Well, there was Moses, they were all in Egypt.
The household of Israel was all in Egypt. God moved them out to bringing them to the promised land. They were in the wilderness for 40 years, but they didn't believe God when he said, go take out all these different. All these different countries or not countries, but civilizations like the amolites and the whatever, all Those people.
Verse 7. Wherefore the Holy Spirit saith, today, if you will hear his voice, harden not your heart, make not your your neck stiff. As in the day of provocation, in the day of temptation, in the wilderness when your fathers tempted me, prove me and saw my works. 40 years. Wherefore I was grieved with this generation and said they do always err in their heart and have not known my ways. So I swear in my wrath they shall not enter into my rest. Verse 12. This is what I wanted to go over. Take heed brethren, lest there be any of you with an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God, but exhort one another daily while is called today, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
Everything has to do with believing.
When you hear the Word, you have to believe the Word. You don't stiffen and harden your neck and harden your heart as in the day of provocation where they didn't believe.
You have to believe what the Word says. You gotta have that firm reliance and belief conviction as to what it's saying. If God says you're fully furnished, if God says you're my son, if God says that you have the liberty and the right to enjoy your life, you have to believe it in order to walk out on it. You can have a car that has horsepower, but if you don't put the gas on and it's not going anywhere, it's the same thing. You got to believe what the Word says about you, about your life. Be not anxious for one thing, but in all things by prayers to God and supplication, which are prayers of personal need, let your specific request be declared unto God.
You got to pray and you got to know you can't live in anxiety. And it's not me saying it, it's God saying it.
You have to know that you know that you know that God's going to take care of you in each and every situation because he says so. And have a firm reliance and belief and be able to walk out on that without fear. God did not give us the spirit of fear. And I really wish I knew the rest of that verse off top of my head. Pray the big prayers today. Lift them up in the name of Jesus. Christ when you pray you always pray to God. You never pray to Jesus Christ. You pray to God lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ with thanksgiving. Have a great day. God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow.
[00:07:46] Speaker A: Well Heavenly Father, thank you so much just for every single thing you do for us. I thank you for your comfort and for your loving kindness. I pray that you.
[00:07:56] Speaker A: Continue to work with me that I'm not losing my mind.
[00:08:01] Speaker A: And that you continue to open up your word. I thank you for your believers that you bless them, take care of them and just for each and every moment I pray for today the things that need to get done get done and it's a blessing and I thank you for the opportunity to live this life to be around my family and your son. I lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
[00:08:47] Speaker A: Sam.
