[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? Hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. [00:00:17] Speaker B: Be thankful. [00:00:17] Speaker A: Be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. [00:00:20] Speaker B: Praise. Praise him and thank him. [00:00:22] Speaker A: Hope you're having a great day. I hope you're excited. I was having a conversation yesterday and it really sparked something in me that I've been thinking about. I was asked that if. If as I've gotten older, if the words changed. And you know what? No, it's the opposite. Your experiences in life, these five senses experiences, don't change the Bible. You got to change your mind to what the Word says in order to. In order to change the outcome of your life. I was fortunate as a young man to read the Word and really apply this stuff. And I didn't have to go through the experiential knowledge in order to learn these hard truths for myself. Better is the sight of the eyes and the wondering of the desire. When you read that verse, it's better to stay in what you see than in your desires of your mind. He that's satisfied with silver shall not, or he that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver. He that loveth understanding with understanding. Like the things that you love in life, you're never gonna be satisfied when you receive them. I didn't have to learn that outcome. And that's what I love about God's Word. When you read the Word and you apply little bits of knowledge into your life, you don't have to experience life in order to become wise in God's eyes. You don't have to go down that path. You don't have to waste that time. I just. It's just so. It's such a blessing. And this morning, because of that conversation, I decided to go back and read Proverbs, because Proverbs has a lot of this stuff in there. And there's just a couple things that I read that blessed me. If you go to Proverbs, chapter 12, verse 25, it says heaviness or anxiety in the heart. And that's what you think about. The things you think of make you you. That's the seed of your distinctive character. So the anxieties of the. In the heart or of the mind of man maketh it bow down or to stoop. But a good word maketh it Glad or it removes the anxiety. It draws anxiety away. Well, what's a good word? The Bible. You gotta read this stuff and know these verses, inwards and out. Like, you have to set your mind steep. Which is kind of like putting a tea bag in water and letting it steep. You gotta steep the Word in your mind. And you have to. Rightly, you have to sit there and change your mind to what the Word says. When you're going through bad times because God works with you all the time in all ways. And when you start to do this, and when you start to apply the Word and have faith and believe it, like, I didn't have to experience life in order to say, oh, this verse is true. That's not how it goes. You read the verse and you apply your life to that verse. You go to Proverbs, chapter 13, verse 12. It says, Hope deferred, which is the expectation of future good. Hope protracted or delayed or deferred, maketh the heart sick. But when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. And that's that tree that supports life that has been given to you. When you're waiting for the expectation of future good, when there's something that you're waiting for and you haven't received it yet, you have a longing for it. But once you receive it, that's a great thing. It's what God gives you. It supports your life. And you have to understand that. You got to understand, like, okay, the anxiety I might be feeling, it's just because I haven't received the thing that I'm driving for. But better is the side of the eyes. I need to stay in now. I have to stay in right now and not focus on the future. It's these little verses again that shift and change your mind. If you go to Proverbs, chapter 13, verse 25, it says, the righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul, but the belly of the wicked shall want. Do you know those people that constantly want more, that can't be satisfied in what they have, they have to have more this verse, to be righteous, to be upright. You just. You're satisfied with what God gives you. You don't worry about tomorrow. Tomorrow. Sufficient is the evil thereof. Anyways, it's today. But how do you live your life? Do you apply these verses or do you just spin out? If you go to chapter 14, verse 1, it says, Every wise woman. And this is interesting to me because I've never. I've never seen this verse. Every wise woman. Now, this has to do with Women has built her house, but the foolish woman plucketh it down with her hands. How many times have you build up something just to destroy it and to do something else? Let's say you want a house, and you build that house, and you've worked to have that house. And then as soon as that house gets done, we need to. We need something else. We need something else. [00:05:28] Speaker B: We need. [00:05:29] Speaker A: It's controlling your mind. And what I love about this is you don't have to live it to understand it. You don't have to be 60 years old to have wisdom and understanding in this life. Although it does help. I will say getting older is a wonderful thing. I love getting older, and I'm thankful that I am older because you do learn these life lessons. But the word, you have it now. It's what you do and how you choose to apply it. I'm going to finish up with this. If you go to chapter and this is a little bit longer than normal, but if you go to chapter 16, verse 1, it says the preparations of the heart and man. And the answer of the tongue is from the Lord. But I love that when you start adding ellipses and everything, it's this. It says to man, pertain the plans of his heart. But from Jehovah comes the final decree. You can't change what God makes crooked. Yes, you do. You do decide where you're going in your life, but it's God that decides the. That ends up deciding the path. And when you follow God's word, you don't wean off that path. You stay on the path. I'm not saying it's easy, but you stay on the path. All the ways of man are pure in his own, in his own eyes. But the Lord weigheth, and this is with moral and spiritual ways, the invisible characteristics of man. Commit thy works or thy actions unto the Lord. And thy thoughts or thy plans shall be established. Shall be established. Now, how beautiful is that verse. You commit your life to God, your actions, you decide. You choose the right actions. You hear the word, you let it hit your heart. There's a difference. When you. When you face the sun and face heat, either you are, it dries up and gets hard, or. Or it's like wax and get soft. Be the wax, change your mind, change your thoughts to what God says. And when you rightly divide this stuff and you become a workman for the Word, it's going to change your life for the good. You don't have to live it in order to understand it. Have a Phenomenal day today. Pray the big prayers. When you pray, it's always to God, never to Jesus Christ. It's to God lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. It's biblical with that sacrifice of thanksgiving. Have a great day. God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow. Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much. Just for today. I pray for my, you know, I just lift up my brother and his [00:08:05] Speaker B: hand that he gets better and that he has 100% function, 100% strength. He has feeling in it. I just pray for the business, the new structure of it, that you continually guide me in how to accomplish that structure and that you show me if my mind is wrong, considering what I want to do, that you just kind of re align it. I thank you again for your word and how much of a blessing it is for the believers that you've surrounded me with. I'm just thankful for each and every one of them. I pray for the day that you just open up and close any door that needs to be open. Close any door. [00:08:40] Speaker A: Open. [00:08:41] Speaker B: Any door needs to be open. Close any door needs to be closed. And yeah, I just pray for everything that needs get out, that it gets out. And it's a blessing to those who receive it. [00:08:49] Speaker A: I lift up a great day to [00:08:50] Speaker B: you in the name of my Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.
