[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? Hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos and this arrangements. Be thankful. Be happy. Continually. Give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank him. Be joyful. I had a great weekend. What a great weekend. And I hope you enjoyed your Memorial Day.
[00:00:29] I've been reading a lot in Proverbs. I'm not really sure why, but I've been back in Proverbs and I'm going to continue to do it until I move on to something else. But I was reading this this morning. In Proverbs 24, verse 16, it says, well, let's do. 15 it says, Lay not wait. Oh wicked man against dwelling of the righteous. Spoil not his resting place. For a just man falleth seven times and riseth up again. But the wicked shall fall into mischief.
[00:00:59] Even if you make a mistake, even if you trip, even if you stumble, a just man, a righteous man, a man in righteousness will stand back up again.
[00:01:11] If you're in a place where you're falling, stand back up and continue to.
[00:01:17] I mean, there's so many.
[00:01:20] If I look back at my life of the things that I've gone through and the times that I've been molded and the dross has been removed from the silver, you know, it says, I don't know where it is. It talks about, you know, you take away the dross from the silver, it becomes a finer vessel. And God will do that with you in your life. He'll start to. That dross is the impurities in the. In the silver.
[00:01:40] God will start to move the impurities out of your consciousness. It's not an easy thing to deal with.
[00:01:48] But you stand back up.
[00:01:50] You stand back up. And he continued to stand back up.
[00:01:54] Verse 17. Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth. And let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth, lest the lorth see it and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him. This is also not easy to do, especially if you have somebody you're warring with. Don't rejoice when they're doing poorly.
[00:02:14] We have a biz, we have a couple businesses, and one of the. One of the businesses, I would say we're up against two other companies, and there's a major transformation going on in the industry and we had seen it and had made moves about six months ago, and these other companies are kind of flailing it right now. You can't rejoice in that.
[00:02:37] You can't rejoice. It's not your place to rejoice. Be thankful for what God's given you and stay into that moment. It's so easy to let and allow your mind to do the natural thing that we'll do in our five senses. At least. I would do. I would rejoice when my enemy fell, for sure.
[00:02:55] I actually have to actively control my mind, not to.
[00:03:00] You read the Word, and when you start to read the Word, you have to activate those principles in your mind.
[00:03:06] It's not the principles you agree with. You do that. That's not how it works.
[00:03:11] You follow what God says and you change your mind. And once you start to do that in your life, it shifts who you are.
[00:03:18] And then you start to see God's goodness.
[00:03:21] You start to get into that place of rest. You have firm confidence in believing.
[00:03:25] I keep going back to my buddy who is listening to Stoicism and going through and studying Stoicism and one of the Stoics, and one of the things that I just randomly said to him is, you know, I would suggest going into the Word.
[00:03:40] If you're going to take the time to start to follow and to start to listen to people's principles, I would suggest going biblically, spiritually.
[00:03:51] Most people don't know the Word. They haven't read the truth of the Word. They've listened to man's theology, not the truth.
[00:03:58] Once you start to read the truth of the Word, like Proverbs and Ecclesiastes and start to wrap and frame your mind and look through that prism, it will change who you are.
[00:04:10] And it's not based on the five senses. It's not based on worldly wisdom. It's based on God's truth.
[00:04:17] And God's truth is the truth.
[00:04:21] I want to jump over to Proverbs 24 or chapter 24. Again, verse three, it says, through wisdom, and this is true. Wisdom is a house builded. And by understanding, which is discerning understanding, the difference between good and evil, it is established and by knowledge. And this is the knowledge of God, shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. Again, it goes back to God.
[00:04:45] Wisdom is under that. Wisdom is rightly applying knowledge and understanding. But the beginning of wisdom is Christ Jesus. In the New Testament, you frame your world around Christ, believing in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ. Romans 10, 9, 10. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart, God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. You start with that. You start with that principle.
[00:05:11] By understanding and seeing the difference between good and evil is a house builded and by the knowledge of God it shall be filled. The inner chamber shall be filled with riches. It's not about your work. It's not about how hard you work, how smart you are.
[00:05:26] That's not what it's about. That's not what life's about. You have to stay focused on the things that actually matter. What actually matter is God and his word.
[00:05:35] It'll change your perspective on life. And you don't live in the rat race of many. Many people do. It's sad.
[00:05:42] Pray the big prayers today. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray, it's always to God. It's never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ with that sacrifice of thanksgiving. Have a beautiful day today. God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow.
[00:05:59] I will be coming home.
[00:06:08] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much for just everything you do for me and my family. I thank you for this, your word and how much it blesses me and how much it recenters my life and keeps me centered. I thank you again for the moments of my life, for the little details that you're always in, how you, I don't know, you just keep it evident. I thank you again for the day today that it's a great day, it's a blessed day that you take care of the people that need to be taken care of, that you bless those people, that you take care of each and every person we work with and the product that's getting produced and that everything's cleaned up. And again, I thank you for the moments of my life and for my family and for the life that you've given me and for your son and what he did in order that we can live this way. I lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
