Trust and have a heart fixed on Him – Psalms 112:1-8 112 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. 2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. 3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever. 4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. 5 A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. 6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be […]

[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? Hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day at the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank him. [00:00:23] Don't have a lot to go over. [00:00:26] Just working cannot wait. Although God did perform a miracle yesterday with my ankle. I don't. I mean it. I couldn't even walk. And I immediately was like, God, you have got to take care of this. Because I can't not work right now. Like, it's. We're too busy. I can't rely on my brother to do this. He literally can't do it. And we have a bunch of stuff to get out. And, you know, God took care of it. It's amazing how he just does things and will completely bless you. Go to him. Shelve your. Shelve your thoughts. If you're dealing with an anxious thought, put it in his hands, give it to him and move on. It's amazing what will happen. So I've been reading again with Heart. [00:01:04] It's been super interesting to me. The heart is the seed of your distinctive character. What makes you you. It's the emotional revolvings of the mind. It's the thoughts of the mind. It's all of it. It kind of encompasses the entire internal. Your entire internal compass. But if you go to chapter 112 in Psalms, it says, blessed is the man that feareth or has reverential awe of the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon the earth. The generation of the upright shall be blessed. Now, I've been really thinking about this. Yesterday I talked about how it's kind of profound that the law is there to help us. [00:01:43] It's not to condemn us. [00:01:45] The law was set there to clean up his people for the Christmas. [00:01:51] Now we're righteous. They would live under law. We are not under the bondage of the servitude to the law. So we're righteous. The minute you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, Romans 10, 9, 10. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart, God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness. And with the mouth, confession is made unto safety, salvation and preservation. It's actually just Salvation. But whatever the point is, is that we aren't under law. However, there are two new commandments. To believe in the name of Jesus Christ and to love one another. And that loving one another encompasses all the laws. But you're not under the servitude to it. Once you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you have a Holy Spirit that can't be taken from you. That's in you, not upon you. Totally different, but the point is, is that it's there for our goodness. It's there to help. [00:02:43] It's not there to live under condemnation. [00:02:47] Verse 3. Wealth and riches shall be in his house, and that's the house of the man that feareth or has reverential all the Lord and his righteousness endureth forever. Unto the upright. There ariseth light in darkness. And I think about this. When you're caught, when darkness comes, there is light in the light in the life of those who rest and have reverential awe for God. [00:03:12] When those negative thoughts come and you give them to God and you let it go, there is light in that. And it's a light that just turns on. If you turn on light, it's not like the darkness slowly rolls out, it's immediately gone. [00:03:27] You go to God, you face God, have reverential awe towards God, you pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ, and you let it go. [00:03:38] Verse and these are all the things that happen unto the upright. There ariseth light in the darkness. He is gracious and full of compassion and righteous. And I love that too. [00:03:48] Mercy is active compassion. That's the specific word in the New Testament. Actively compassionate. God is actively compassionate in your life. And the minute that you turn back, even if you're off doing whatever, because we all do it, the minute you turn back is the minute he's there. [00:04:06] It's instantaneous. He is actively compassionate. [00:04:10] That's what grace is. [00:04:13] Verse 5. A good man showeth favor and lendeth. He will guide his affairs with discretion. [00:04:21] Are you systematic about the way that you live your life or are you just, you know, whatever comes, comes. [00:04:31] The point is, is that a good man showeth favor, but he's going to guide his affairs with discretion. [00:04:38] You have to be cognizant of the choices you make. [00:04:43] Surely he shall not be moved forever. The righteous shall be an everlasting remembrance. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings. And this is bad news. [00:04:54] Are you afraid of bad news? [00:04:56] Because when you're resting and relying on God and shelving the ideas, I keep saying that. But I can't tell you how much of a relief and freedom that gives those who rely on God. They're not afraid of evil tidings, they're not afraid of bad news. When my brother got almost killed himself and almost lost all of his hands and his wrists, the minute that there was like God took care of that moment and I knew it. [00:05:24] The thing is, is God will take. It doesn't matter if the wings of the plane are falling off and you're in the sky 5,000ft above the earth, it doesn't matter. God will come through his heart though. I'm going to do verse seven and finish this thing up. He shall not be afraid of evil tithing. His heart is fixed or steadfast morally trusting in the Lord. [00:05:48] Get to a point in your life where you can have complete trust knowing God is there for you. And it's not based on your acts and it's not based on walking perfectly. That's not what it's about. The moment you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you're righteous, you're a son of God and you can't be moved from that position. [00:06:06] It's what you choose to do with your mind and your life after that. What are you setting your life towards? [00:06:12] Have a phenomenal day today. Pray. The big prayers lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray and it's always to God. It's never to Jesus Christ, it's always to God lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a great day. God bless you and your family. Talk to you tomorrow. [00:06:37] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much just for today and for everything that's going on. I pray that you're just there with us. There's so much to do that you kind of calm my mind down. That we can get through this stuff systematically, that it's a blessing that everything comes on time and when we receive it, we can put build these tables and it's off my mind in my heart. I also pray for the position that we find the right person, that it's the right amount that we offer. [00:07:09] I thank you very, very much for what you do for us and how you do it and just, just your loving disposition. I. I thank you for your son and what he did for us and for a great day today. And I lift everything up to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
