We are set in a state corresponding to God’s nature – 1 Corinthians 6:11-13

1 Corinthians 6:11-13

¹¹ And such were some of you: but ye are washed (cleansed by bathing), but ye are sanctified (set or placed in a state corresponding to God’s nature) but ye are justified (set forth as righteous) in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by (remaining within) the Spirit (holy spirit) of our God.

¹² All things are lawful unto me, but (not) all things are not expedient (profitable): all things are lawful for (to) me, but I will not be brought (to have authority) under the power of any.

¹³ Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them…
