God gives the increase - Philippians 2:10-13, Proverbs 16:1-, Proverbs 16:9

Philippians 2:10-13

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out (effect or achieve) your own salvation (safety, preservation) with fear and trembling.

13 For it is God which worketh (to form by labor) in you both to will (the emotional will to do) and to do (work) of his good pleasure.

Proverbs 16:1-3, Proverbs 16:9

English standard version

1 The plans of the heart belong to man,     but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord. 2 All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes,     but the Lord weighs the spirit.[a] 3 Commit your work (action) to the Lord,     and your plans will be established (stand firm). 9 The heart of man plans his way,     but the Lord establishes his steps.
