Isaiah 26:3-4
3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
4 Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:
Ephesians 4:22-24
22 That ye put off (put away) concerning (with the ultimate purpose) the former (before) conversation (manner of life) the old man (Adam nature), which is corrupt (being corrupted) according to the deceitful lusts (sinful desires);
23 And be renewed (implies that the whole course of life now is different) in the spirit of your mind (reflective consciousness);
24 And that ye put on (like a tee shirt) the new man (new spiritual nature), (that) which after (in parallel motion with) God is (was) created in righteousness and true (of the truth) holiness.
