You are an heir and son of God right now - Galatians 4-7, Galatians 5:1

Galatians 4-7

4 Now I say, That the heir, as long as (for such time as) he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord (owner) of all;

2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

3 Even so (So also) we, when we were children, were in bondage (enslaved) under the elements (elementary rules) of the world (kosmos: the arrangement):

4 But when the fulness (of which it is full) of the time was come (came), God sent forth his Son, made (to come into existence) of a woman, made (to come into existence) under the law,

5 To redeem (to buy out) them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons (sonships).

6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit (new spiritual nature) of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

7 Wherefore thou art no more (no longer) a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of (through) God through Christ.

Galatians 5:1

tand fast therefore in the liberty (freedom to to go where one will) wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage (servitude).
