Our God is the God of hope and patient enduring - Romans 14:21-23, Romans 15:1-2, Romans 15:5-6, Romans 15:13
Romans 14:21-23
21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth (to strike the foot against, to stumble), or is offended, or is made weak.
22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before (in the sight of) God. Happy is he that condemneth (judgeth) not himself in that thing which he alloweth (to prove, as refiners do metal by fire, to try, examine, to have experience by trial).
23 And he that doubteth (to be at strife with one's self) is damned (condemned) if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
Romans 15:1-2
15 We then that are strong ought to bear (to lift, carry) the infirmities (weakness and sickness) of the weak (not able), and not to please (to be pleasing and acceptable to) ourselves.
2 Let every one of us please (to be pleasing and acceptable to) his neighbour (one living in the same land or border) for his good to edification (building up).
Romans 15:5-6
5 Now the God of patience (patient enduring) and consolation (the comfort) grant (deliver, supply) you to be likeminded (regarding the same thing ) one toward another (among yourselves) according to Christ Jesus:
6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify (to recognize, to honor, to praise) God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 15:13
13 Now the God of hope fill (filled full, complete) you with all joy (be delighted) and peace (undisturbed state of well being) in believing, that ye may abound (be over and above, more than enough) in hope (the expectation of future good), through the power (inherent power) of the Holy Ghost.
