Christ died for your righteousness - Galatians 2:16, Galatians 3:10-14

Galatians 2:16

16 Knowing that a man is not justified (set forth as righteous) by (out from) the works (work, deed, then that which is brought into being or accomplished by labor) of the (divine) law, but (except) by (through) the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have (also) believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified (set for as righteous) by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no (not all) flesh be justified (set forth as righteous).

Galatians 3:10-14

10 For as many as are of (out from) the works of (out from) the law are under (moral or legal subjection) the curse: for it is written, Cursed (doomed for punishment) is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

11 But that no man is justified (set forth as righteous) by the law in the sight of (before) God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by (out from) faith.

12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

13 Christ hath redeemed (to buy out) us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed (doomed) is every one that hangeth on a tree:

14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
