[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? Hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day that the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement, to be thankful, be happy. Continually Give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him. Thank him.
[00:00:23] So I'm still in the whole thing where I'm having a hard time reading. And I've been listening to a guy named Joe Armstrong, and it's really, really blessed.
[00:00:32] And he went over a couple things today which I'm going to go over, but I was thinking about how. And actually something that he said was that everybody was born without God. Like, one thing we all share in common is when we were born, you're born without God. You're born according to the carnal. You're born according to the five senses.
[00:00:50] And it wasn't until Christ died, obviously, but until you believe Romans 10, 9, 10, that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart, God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
[00:01:01] It's not until you believe it that you believe Jesus Christ, your Lord and Savior. Believe that he was raised from the dead, that you're saved, that you're born spiritually new, and in that moment you have God. Well, the thing is that we are all captured in our minds by that original birth, in the sense of it's hard to think spiritually.
[00:01:22] It's easy to think carnally, to think in that original state.
[00:01:27] And the thing is, is that we have God's word, the spoken word, as connected to his inner thoughts, the spoken word of the reconnection. And you're reconnected to God. So it's a matter of changing your mind, essentially. And I'm going to go through a couple verses of this. If you go to chapter 12, verse 2 of Romans, it says, then be not shaped or fashioned or conformed to this world, but be transformed. And that's to alter one's bearing, but by the renewing or the renovation of the mind, to the proving what is good and acceptable in the perfect will of God.
[00:02:00] You can have a house and the outside of your house looks a certain way, but you can renovate that house, the interior of the house. You have to renovate your mind. You have to change your mind, you have to renew your mind to what the Word says.
[00:02:16] There talks about a rest day to the People of God. If you jump over to Hebrews, chapter 4, verse 9, it says, There therefore remaineth a rest day to the people of God. For he that has entered into his rest, he hath ceased or idle from his own works, as God did from his own.
[00:02:34] So there is a rest day for the people of God. And the reason why I want to bring this up is that if you jump over to Chronicles, chapter 32, verse 1, Judah was about to be attacked. And I want to go through this because this really blessed me this morning. If you go to chapter 32, verse 1, it says, after these things and the establish thereof, Sennacherib, king of Assyria, came and entered into Judah and encamped himself in the fenced cities and thought to win them for himself. And when Hezekiah and this the king of Judah saw that Sennacherib was come and that he was purposed to fight against Jerusalem, he took counsel with his princes and the mighty men to stop the waters of the fountains which were without the city or outside of the city. And they did help him.
[00:03:21] So there was gathered much people together who stopped all the fountains and the brook that ran through the midst of the land, saying, why should the kings of Assyria come and find much water also? He strengthened himself and built up all the walls that were broken and raised it up to the towers and another wall without, and repaired Melo in the city of David and made darts and shields in abundance. And he set up captains of war over the people and gathered them together to him in the street of the gate city and spake comfortably to them. And this is what I wanted to go over.
[00:03:57] When you believed in God and you believe that God is for you, he had an entire enemy, the Assyrian people, coming to attack the city. And what did he do? He took care of business. And he spake comfortably to the people. And he said, be strong and courageous. Be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him. For there be more with us than with him. With him is an arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles. And the thing is, is that you got to know that God is with you all the time.
[00:04:34] He's not with you some of the time. He's not with. He's always there. It's what Christ died for. In order that we can be reconnected to God. Now we're reconnected. And you can't be unconnected. Once you're connected to him again. With him is an arm of flesh. But with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles. And the people rested or stayed themselves upon the words of Hezekiah, King of Judah.
[00:05:05] They rested because of his words, because of his believing. And the thing is, is once you get to the point that you believe that God's going to take care of this situation, it gives you rest.
[00:05:18] And that's the state we are to live in. If you have something in your life that's bothering you, everybody has a fear of something, something.
[00:05:27] Every time you have that fear, give it to God, put it in his hands and let it go. And the more you do that, and the thing is, it actually builds believing because if you do that, you are believing God's going to take care of it.
[00:05:39] I always had a problem like, how do you build your believing? How does that work? Well, give him the situation and you're going to see God come through over and over and over again. And if you know that all things work together for good to those that love God, to those that are called according to purpose, you know that regardless of the outcome, it's working out for you always.
[00:05:59] It's always working out.
[00:06:02] And you'll start to see God's goodness and his active compassion, which is mercy throughout your life.
[00:06:08] You just have to recognize that we're spiritual. You have God with you today.
[00:06:14] Pray the big prayers today, pray the small prayers. When you pray, you always pray to God, never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ with that sacrifice of thanksgiving. Have a great day today. God bless you and your family and I'll talk to you tomorrow.

[00:06:44] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much for today. Again, I pray for my brother and my sister in law that they just have a great trip and it's a blessing for them and they get that peaceful time for themselves. Father and I pray for the kids, you take care of them today and you get me through having to drive them to school and soccer practice and everything else.
[00:07:05] I also just ask you for clear direction concerning the business that everything gets done that needs to get done, that it's a blessing and also that I can finish George's chair. Father and I just lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
