Teach your children to believe – 2 Timothy 1:5-7
Timothy 1:5-7
When I call to remembrance the unfeigned (not playing a part, not hiding under false pretenses) faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.
Wherefore (On account of which cause) I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up (stir into flame) the gift (gift of grace) of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.
For God hath not given us the (a) spirit (a character; invisible and manifested in one’s action) of fear (cowardice); but of power (inherent power), and of love, and of a sound mind (a making of a sound mind, controlling all inordinate desires by self constraint).
