We are sons of God right now – 1 John 5:1-5; 1 John 3:23-24; 1 John 5:18

John 5:1-5

5 Whosoever believeth (to have faith) that Jesus is the Christ is born (begotten, sired, produced, formed) of (out from the origins) God: and every one that loveth him that begat (begotten) loveth him also that is begotten of him.

² By (Remaining within) this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

1 John 3:23-24

²³ And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

²⁴ And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

1 John 5:2-5

² By (Remaining within) this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

³ For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

⁴ For (because) whatsoever is born (begotten) of God overcometh the world (kosmos: this arrangement): and this is the victory (victory in battle) that overcometh the world, even our faith.

⁵ Who is he that overcometh (conquer/victorious) the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

1 John 5:18

¹⁸ We know that whosoever is born (begotten) of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten (procreated, formed) of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
