[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning.
[00:00:02] Speaker B: Good morning.
[00:00:02] Speaker A: How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day?
[00:00:06] Speaker B: Hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made.
[00:00:11] Speaker A: We'll be glad.
[00:00:12] Speaker B: We will rejoice in it.
[00:00:13] Speaker A: Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement.
[00:00:18] Speaker B: Be thankful. Be happy.
[00:00:19] Speaker A: Continually give God that sacrifice.
[00:00:21] Speaker B: Praise.
[00:00:21] Speaker A: Praise him and thank him.
I don't read the Gospels too often. I've always been kind of interested more
[00:00:27] Speaker B: in the New Testament, the pretty much Romans, and they're on, like, what do we do now?
[00:00:33] Speaker A: You know what? Like, now that Christ died, now that
[00:00:36] Speaker B: he's risen, like, now what? I wasn't even really super. I haven't really paid attention or read
[00:00:41] Speaker A: a lot of Acts, which is pretty
[00:00:43] Speaker B: much the spreading of the Word and the spreading of the Gospel and what
[00:00:47] Speaker A: happened after the day of Pentecost.
But I was reading in John today
[00:00:52] Speaker B: and I wanted to go over it.
[00:00:53] Speaker A: If you go to John, chapter 5, verse 24, it says, verily, verily, I say unto you he that heareth my word and believeth on him that sent me, which is God. This is Christ talking. Verily, verily, I say unto you he that heareth my word or Christ's word, and believeth on him that sent me, believes on God, hath everlasting life and shall not come into judgment or condemnation, but is passed from death unto life.
We live in a tremendous time and a tremendous administration. And before Christ, man, they had to follow law. It was all about law. And actually in verse 18, which is this kind of blew my mind this morning, it says, therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him because he had not only broken the Sabbath and that he had healed somebody, but said also that he was his Father, making him equal with God.
Christ talked about how Jesus Christ talked about how God was his Father. You didn't say that. You didn't believe that before. In fact, if you go back through. I don't think there's any point in the Word where anybody referred to God as their Father.
And yet God asks us to refer to him as our Father because we are sons of God.
[00:02:11] Speaker B: You live in a tremendous administration right now.
[00:02:16] Speaker A: Even though the world is absolutely a disaster.
We still have God.
We still can go to God. We still have passed from death, the state of death, to life, which is that spiritual state.
And knowing that God is there for us every single second of every day, no matter what's going on.
Verse 25, Verily, verily, I Say unto you the hour is coming and now is where. When the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God. And they shall live, the dead, which are those people that are in the state of death. If you don't believe in the name of Jesus Christ, that's still in that carnal nature, and that's fine.
But I know that I believe in God, and I believe in his Son, Christ Jesus. And I know he was raised from the dead. And I know Christ is my Lord and Savior.
I know Romans 10, 9, 10, that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart, God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto safety or salvation or preservation.
You're born again. You're a son of God. You're righteous in God's eyes. And he was talking about that day Christ came for the Jews in that he fulfilled the law.
But with him dying and with us believing in the name of Jesus Christ, he broke down the middle wall of the. Of the partition. The enmity that rested in between that. That wall that was between the Jews and the Gentiles.
You. It's just. It's tremendous. We are very, very fortunate to live now and not before.
For as the Father hath life in himself, so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself, and hath given him authority to execute judgment also because he is the Son of man. Marvel not at this. For the hour is coming in the which all that are in the graves that shall hear his voice and shall come forth that they are they that have done good unto the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil unto the resurrection of damnation. I can of myself, or I can of mine own self, do nothing as I hear. I judge and my judgment is just because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
And that's the thing. Christ Jesus never spoke anything outside of what God told him to speak.
And you have that same relationship. We are reconnected to God spiritually.
We have this spoken word of the reconnection, which is God's word. And you have the actual reconnection resting in your. In your spirit, in your and in your heart.
[00:05:03] Speaker B: I think.
[00:05:04] Speaker A: I don't know if it's exactly heart
[00:05:05] Speaker B: or in your spirit, but you have that reconnection in.
[00:05:08] Speaker A: You have a phenomenal day today. Pray the big prayers, pray the small prayers. When you pray, it's always to God. It's never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ and give him that sacrifice of thanksgiving. Have a phenomenal day today. God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow.
Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much
[00:05:39] Speaker B: just for everything you do for us and how you do it. I pray for a great day today. I pray for your just your loving disposition, your hand on each and every situation. I pray for what's going on with, with work and all that stuff. I pray for your protection around, in and around my brother and my sister in law on the flight tonight and getting, getting there and having a great trip and then getting home. I also pray for this next week or next 10 days or two weeks or however long it is that you just make it very smooth and it's a, it's a just a good time easy for the, for the everybody that works here and for me. And I just thank you for just your loving disposition. I lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
