God will deliver - 2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Peter 2:1-3, 2 Peter 2:9
2 Peter 1:20-21
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is (born or become) of any private (one's own individual) interpretation.
21 For the prophecy came not in old time (at any time) by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost (divine power).
2 Peter 2:1-3
2 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 And many shall follow their pernicious (lasciviousness, excess, immoderation) ways; by reason of whom (on account of whom) the way of truth shall be evil spoken of (blasphemed).
3 And through (remaining within) covetousness (a will to have more, wantonness) shall they with feigned (formed, fabricated) words make merchandise (buy and sell, trade) of you: whose judgment now of a long time (from of old) lingereth not, and their damnation (destruction) slumbereth not (not become drowsy).
2 Peter 2:9
9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver (rescue) the godly out of temptations (a putting to the test, proof, trail), and to reserve (keep an eye upon, maintain) the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
