You are upright regardless of your works – Ephesians 2:4-10, Ephesians 14-18 Ephesians 2:4-10 2 Wherein (in which) in time past (once) ye walked according to the course (the age) of this world (kosmos: the arrangement), according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit (devil spirit) that now worketh (is working) in (resting within) the children (child by natural descent) of disobedience (the disobedience): 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation (to turn oneself, conduct oneself) in times past in the lusts (unlawful, sinful desire) of our flesh (fleshly nature), fulfilling the desires of the flesh […]

[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. [00:00:02] Speaker B: Good morning. [00:00:02] Speaker A: How are you on this fine, fine beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today and I hope you are excited today. Today is the day that the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice of praise. Praise him and thank Him. Be joyful. If you have a moment today, I, I ask you pray for my family, my brother and sister in law and their kids. I mean they are sick and there's a lot of people out there that has this, this cold or influenza A or whatever it is. Just pray for them. [00:00:37] Speaker B: They get better and I thank you for that. [00:00:40] Speaker A: Yeah, I was on a side note. I started working out a couple months ago and I did legs yesterday. I can barely walk. I was like kind of falling down the stairs today and I was kind of laughing. If, if you're taking time off or if you're not in shape and you need that little boost to get in shape, man, start to go and work out. It's. It's amazing. With the, with the exception of being in pain. But anywho, today I was reading in Ephesians and I'm just, it's just crazy how God kind of moves you through the Word when you start to read the Word every day, especially if you do a time thing. When I started reading, I actually had to time it and I would time it for 20 minutes, which doesn't seem like a long time, but let me tell you, it's a lot. It's a lot. Now, now I kind of make myself, I've been forcing myself to get back into it. But I was reading today in Ephesians and yesterday I was, I think yesterday I was talking about how it's not about your works and it's not about your acts, right? Because like I said, I curse and you can condemn yourself for certain things, but it's not about the Acts. It's not about being what you think is upright. Jesus Christ died in order to make you upright in the sight of God, regardless of whatever you do. That's what righteousness is. It's to be upright. God looks at you, the uprightness your righteousness spawns when you believe in the name of Jesus Christ. After that, it's over. So I was reading today, of course God brings me Ephesians and what do you know? That's exactly what it goes into. If you go to Ephesians Chapter one or chapter two, Verse. Let's see, verse four, it says, but God who is rich in mercy, and this is active compassion. I always love this. He's rich, he is full, he's overflowing, he's plenteous in active compassion for. But God, who is rich in active compassion or mercy for his great love, wherewith he loved us even when we were dead in sins or dead by sins, hath made us alive together with Christ. If you jump down to verse eight. For by grace are ye saved. And the dividing line is faith. You're saved through faith. When you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you're. You're. You're saved, you're righteous. For if that. It's Romans 10, 9 and 10. For if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Period. Again, verse 8. For by grace are ye saved. And the dividing line is faith. And that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works. Lest any man should boast. It's not about your works, it's not about your acts. It's not about following the law, which I'll go over. It's about believing in the dividing line. You think about a line in the sand. You either believe in the name of Jesus Christ or you don't. You're either saved, righteous right now in the sight of God, or you'll be judged by your acts. But if you are saved, if you do believe in the name of Jesus Christ, your acts, your works don't mean anything. It's about your believing. If you jump over to verse 14, it says, for he is our peace. This is Christ Jesus who died is our peace, who hath made both one and hath broken down the middle wall of the partition. This has to do with the Jews and the Gentiles. If you weren't a Jew, you were not of the covenant of God. Christ died in order that you have the same covenant covenant, the same sonship rights as the Jews. Only it's a bigger thing now because they had to walk through the law. We do not. You are righteous the minute you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, having abolished in his flesh the enmity or the hatred, even the law of Commandments. When he died, he nailed that law of Commandments to that cross. It doesn't matter, it's actually a tree, but whatever. He nailed that to the cross. It's over. It's not about your works. Lest any man should boast. If you walk around and you're self righteous, you are not righteous, you are not upright because of your acts. It doesn't matter what you think. It's about what the word says. And the word says is contrary to that. That's what the righteousness of believing is. That's why it's so wonderful what God did. And what's crazy is when he he sent his Son and Jesus Christ chose to die for die for us. We have the new spiritual life. When Christ was raised again, he was raised new a new spiritual man. We are in conjunction. We sit right next to Christ on the right hand of God now, not later now, which it talks about. But I'll go into that some other time. I want to finish up with this verse 18 for the dividing line. For through Christ Jesus we both have the access through the Holy Spirit unto the Father. Your access is believing in the name of Jesus Christ. Once you believe, you have the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the power from on God on high. It's God's power that's in you. There is not fear in this world. You have the love of God in you. And there is not fear in love because fear hath torment. You are not to live your life tormented by by the five senses because you have the spirit. And I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. You got to know the word to put this stuff in your mind. When you start freaking out, you got to put the word on. You got to know that you know that. You know that you have Christ in you, the hope of glory and you have God Almighty behind you. There is not fear in this world. You are not to fear. And by prayers and supplications let those prayers of specific prayers, of request be declared unto God. Pray to God today. Don't live in fear. Pray in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray, you pray to God. You lift it up in the name of Jesus Christ. That's biblical. Have a beautiful day. God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow. [00:06:49] Speaker B: Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much for everything that's going on. Again I pray for my brother and my sister in law, their family that they get help healthy. I thank you so much for my family, my dad, my mom, my stepparents, my sister, my, you know, obviously my brother and sister in law and their kids. And I just thank you again for the moments that you've given me, the moments that we have. And I just pray for our country. I pray for everything that's going on. I also ask for our business that you just continually show me what to do and give me a little bit of time. [00:07:18] Speaker A: Grace, Father. [00:07:19] Speaker B: And again, I thank you for the moments of of our life. I lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
