Ecclesiastes 5:1-12 5 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil. 2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few. 3 For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool’s voice is known by multitude of words. 4 When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for […]

[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, but beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today and I hope you are excited today because today is the day that the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful. Be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank Him. Sorry about yesterday. The Internet was out till noon, making it a little difficult to do send out a digital teaching. But I was reading this morning in Ecclesiastes, and sometimes I feel that these, these teachings are a little bit redundant. But you know, it's always nice to hear it and you always get something new out of it. And if you go to Ecclesiastes chapter 5, verse Ecclesiastes, chapter 5, verse 1, it says, Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God. And be more ready to obey than to give the sacrifice of fools. For they consider not that they do evil. Be not rash with thy mouth and not and let not thine heart be hasty or quick to utter anything before God. For God is in heaven and now upon the earth. Therefore let thy words be few. [00:01:10] You know, always listen to what God's telling you. And I also think in the Word when you read, just listen to what he's saying. But also we are to pray. You know, you are to declare what's going on in your life with God. It's going to bring that peace in your life. [00:01:25] But be more ready to hear. Listen to what he says in his word and what he says to you directly once you build that relationship. Verse 3. For a dream cometh through the multitude of business. And this is a lot of activity. And a fool's voice is known by the multitude of words. [00:01:43] There's so many places that talks about being a fool and just keeping your mouth shut. And this is a difficult thing for me personally. [00:01:51] But just be quiet, be quiet and listen. Verse 4. When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it, for he hath no pleasure in fools. Pay that which thou hast vowed. Better is it that thou shouldest not vow than in thou shouldest vow and not pay. [00:02:09] I made the mistake of making a vow with God. I will never do that again, that's for sure. I made from now. What I do now is I make vows to myself the things I'm going to do, but I never make one with God. You pay what you vow, God. And if you vow God something in you in the past. Pay it. He doesn't suffer fools. Verse 6. Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin. Neither say before the angel or the messenger that it was an heir, and that's that vow. Wherefore should God be angry at thy voice and destroy? But it's actually not destroy. It's confiscate the work of thine hands. [00:02:48] Just. You don't want to. When it says suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin. You're lying to God when you make a vow and you don't pay it. Don't do it, man. Don't do it. Verse. Verse 7. For in the multitude of dreams, in many words, there are also great vanities. But fear thou God, have reverential awe towards God. If thou seest the oppression of the poor and violent perverting. And this is for the purpose of cause and effect. For the purpose and the cause of effect it has of the judgment and justice in a province. Marvel not at the matter. [00:03:23] If you see people just absolutely destroying the word, destroying God's principles, don't think it's crazy, you know, don't marvel at it. Because verse. Well, it's the end of verse 8. For he that is higher than the highest regardeth and there be higher than they. God sees what's going on. God sees everybody through. I mean, he sees you naked. He sees you. He knows what's going on. He knows what's going on in the province. Pray for it, but don't take it on. It's not. I mean, don't be astonished by it. It's the way it is. People can be evil, truly evil. Verse 9. Moreover, the profit of the earth is for all. The king himself is served by the field. He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver. Nor he that loveth abundance with increase. This is also vanity and vexation. One of those principles I love is, is that you're not going to be satisfied with the things that you love. If you think about something you're trying to achieve. Let's say it's a car. And you work your whole life to get this car. Once you receive that car, it's not going to be the end. [00:04:25] It's not going to satisfy and satiate you. God is going to do that. And it's amazing when you start to turn to God and let him draw the path for you. Let him decide what's right. Ask him to open and close the doors, because he blesses you beyond your imagination. [00:04:41] Beyond your imagination. [00:04:44] Verse 11. When goods increase. This is the truth. When goods increase, they are increased that eat them. And what good is there to the owners thereof? Saving the beholding of their. Saving of the beholding of them with their eyes. [00:04:59] That is so true. Mo money, mo problems. More things you have, more things you got to take care of. [00:05:06] When goods increase, they increase to eat them. And the only. And what good is it that you just have a bunch of stuff that you can just look at? [00:05:14] Just literally. That's the saving the beholding of them with their eyes. You just look at. [00:05:19] But God does bless you. And there are so many things in life that he takes care of. Just recognize everything comes with work. [00:05:26] Finally, the the sleep of a laboring man is sweet whether he eat little or much. But the abundance of the rich will not suffer. Suffer them to sleep. [00:05:37] Working in life does so many beautiful things. And if you're not working, man, don't do it. Everybody talks about that passive income, that's fine. But God wants you to work in life. It's not about how much time you take off, it's about working. You're going to sleep better, you're going to live better. [00:05:56] There's a reason why we were created to dress the field, to to plant and to garden. [00:06:02] All that requires labor, but it's all from God. God produces out of that. God will produce in your life. He produced in mind, that's for sure. Especially after going to him after years of struggle. Continue to go to God in all things. When you vow a vow to God, make sure you pay it. Be quiet and listen to what God says more than just talking. So I'll like these little principles that will just, I don't know, blow your mind. Have a great day today. Pray the big prayers. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. Again, when you pray, you pray to God. Never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a great day. God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow. [00:06:54] Well, heavenly Father, thank you so much just for today. I pray for the trip, that it's a good trip and that it's safe. Father, I pray for my arm and that you just get that muscle. Just get rid of that tension so it can get back to normal, so I can get back to golf. Thank you for all the people that you put in my life. I pray for the people that we work with again that you just bless them and take care of them. If there's anything that I need to do that you put that on my heart. I also pray for my brother that he gets done with everything that he's got going on and sister in law and the kids and my family and my brother or my, I'm sorry, excuse me, my, my sister and my mom and my stepdad, my dad, my stepmom. Just that you bless them. I thank you for the moments that you've given me in my life and I pray again for just a great week and just for your continual blessings. I lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
