[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today and I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will. Rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank him. Yesterday I moved my podcasting stuff and I completely set it up wrong and right. When I sat down to do the teaching yesterday, it didn't work. So I like freaked out all these things. Finally got it back together today, thank God.
[00:00:40] But yeah, I hope you're having a good morning. I, I'm still working the Old Testament and the new or really Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, the Gospels.
[00:00:50] And this morning I was going over Colossians and you know, once you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you're righteous and sometimes you just need a little bit of a pick me up as far as with the word. And if you go to Colossians, chapter three, verse one, it ye then be risen with Christ. Endeavor to seek those things which are above where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
[00:01:12] Mind or set your heart on things above, not on things remaining within the earth.
[00:01:18] You gotta think on the spiritual things of God.
[00:01:22] You've been given all these things, all these promises. And one of the things that I've always found it difficult is, is when I hear, oh, God's promises. What are you even talking about? Where are these promises?
[00:01:33] Until you realize, until you realize that there's a big promise in there, and that is you are a son of God.
[00:01:40] You're born new, you're born spiritual.
[00:01:43] And now you have that new, that spiritual connection with God again. There's the five senses and then there's the spiritual connection, that spiritual nature.
[00:01:53] And you cannot explain spiritual things with the five senses.
[00:01:58] We have a, we were working on this project anytime that we, when, when things really start going bad, and I mean bad bad, not just a screw up here, screw up here, where there's a consistency and like, bam, mess up, mess up, mess up. And anything you do, it just never, it never ends.
[00:02:14] Usually that's a spiritual situation in my life.
[00:02:18] I go to God, I pray about it, and I was talking to one of my friends about it and he's like, you know, why, why do you refer that to spiritual? It's like man, things of the spirit, of the spirit. Things are the five senses of the five Senses you have the spirit of truth, something you cannot explain. A situation, a spiritual situation, with the things of the flesh, the carnal nature, the five senses. It's impossible.
[00:02:41] You have that promise from God.
[00:02:43] And we're to seek those things which are above, not which are things which are in the earth. For ye died and your life has been hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then we shall appear, or be made manifest or made visible with him in glory, mortifier port to death. Therefore your members which are upon the earth.
[00:03:07] There's a. There's a thought process that everybody goes through. Everybody has their own thing. If you're. Maybe you covet something, or maybe you're greedy, or maybe you lie, or. I mean, everybody deals with stuff in their life.
[00:03:20] You know, the crazy thing is that God says to work out your own safety, your own salvation with him. So the things that you're going through, that needs to be worked on between you and God. But you got to set your life in a spiritual way, not in a carnal way. That's why there's the carnal and the spiritual. The carnal will always lead to death. The five senses will always lead to death. Because the state of death was created the minute that sin entered into the world. Essentially the minute that Adam transgressed against God. But Jesus Christ came in order that we can have life in all of its manifestations. It's a spiritual existence. And these are the things God says to do.
[00:04:02] If you jump over to verse 10 and have put on the new man, the new spiritual nature which is renewed, and this is daily acquiring strength with the motion to get to know God in the knowledge after the image of him that created him. Knowledge is the word epignosis. Having a true impersonal relationship with an object. Your spirit is daily acquiring strength to get to know God.
[00:04:30] It's whether or not you put your mind and focus on that. What are you focused on in your life? What's important to you? What do you put first? What's the first priority? Because if it's not God, there needs to be a change in your heart and your mind.
[00:04:46] It's God first, then family. It's God first, then relationship. It's God first, then work. It's God first, then success.
[00:04:57] All these things have to be wrapped in your mind. It's. It's what you put first. And the crazy thing is, is once you start to rely on God and give it to God, he's going to take care of it.
[00:05:08] He is. And it's in his. If you. Actually, you know what, if you get a row, if you go to Matthew, chapter, let's see, 6, verse 31, it says, Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat? Or what shall we drink? Or wherewithal shall we be closed? For after all these things do the Gentiles seek for. Your Heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. God knows that you have need, right?
[00:05:36] Verse 33. But see, seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore, no thought for tomorrow, for tomorrow shall take thought of the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
[00:05:54] There's a little promise for God from God. Stop thinking about tomorrow and just think about today and think about your relationship with God today.
[00:06:03] Because those things shall be added unto you, the things that you need.
[00:06:07] He is there for you. It's about what you put first in your life.
[00:06:12] Think on the spiritual things because it will bring you to life. And I am a testament to that. I can prove that in my life, prove it in yours. Be that testament to other people.
[00:06:23] Pray the big prayers today. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. Again, when you pray, you always pray to God, never to Jesus Christ. It's biblical. You pray to God, not to Jesus Christ, but you lift it up in the name of Jesus Christ. That's how you get the access. Have a great day today. [00:06:51] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much just for today and for the things of today. I pray for this, this final bench that I can get this thing done. And I am finished with upholstery for a while.
[00:07:03] I am so thankful for the contractors that we found and to be able to work with them and how much of a blessing that's been. I thank you so much for the people in my life, the people that you put in this business and the places that you continually bless them. If there's anything I need to pray or do that, you put that on my heart for them. Father, again, I thank you for the moments of my life, for the little moments and the big ones. I thank you for my family and just for.
