[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning.
[00:00:02] Speaker B: Good morning.
[00:00:02] Speaker A: How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day?
[00:00:07] Speaker B: I hope you're having a great day.
[00:00:08] Speaker A: Today, and I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun. In this cosmos and this arrangement.
[00:00:20] Speaker B: Be thankful. Be happy.
[00:00:21] Speaker A: Continually. Give God that sacrifice.
[00:00:23] Speaker B: Praise. Praise him and thank him.
I don't know, man.
[00:00:27] Speaker A: I've been really thinking about how blessed I am. And, you know, we've all. If you're going through it right now and you're struggling, it's going to take years. Well, for me, it took years. It really took years for God to pound me down and to get me to the point where, you know, when I say pound me down, I just. It's not a pounding of, like, he knows how to twist the screws in order to get you to change your mind.
[00:00:54] Speaker B: And whatever it is you're working on.
[00:00:56] Speaker A: Like, for me, it was always my weakness, was always, you know, God. God always made me successful. I was always very, very successful. And anything I did, I was. I was. I was good.
And I've never. I had never been at a point where, like, when I worked, I didn't receive.
I always was on top. And when, when. When we started the business and.
And we did all this stuff, you just expect to kill it. I mean, I expected to absolutely kill it, but that's not how it went, you know, And God molded and shaped me. I don't know where it is in the word where it talks about this, like, the correction of God. He shaped and corrected my mind. And that was just one little thing. And then, you know, 20 years later, he shaped and corrected another part of my life which had to do with women, you know, And God knows how to. God knows how to do these things with you. And if you're going through it, my point is, is it's not some quick thing.
It takes time to develop with God. And once you've done it, then you're on the other side. It's just a very strange place to be because I'm going through these emotional highs of being so thankful that God brought me through that. I think you can always look back and be like, man, I get it. It's the same way if you were spanked. I was spanked a lot. It's the same way where you look back and you know what you did was wrong and you're thankful for your parents for correcting your mind and Correcting your attitude to so that you're not this person that you don't want to be.
It's the same thing with God. He is going to correct you and that's why he sets those days side by side in order that we find nothing past him.
He's going to set the days, the good days and the bad days next to each other in order that you find nothing past Him. You got to bring God to the, to the forefront of your mind, to the forefront of your thoughts.
Now I was reading this today, which really blessed me. If you go to first or second Thessalonians, chapter one, verse three, we are bound to thank God always on your beh.
We are bound to thank God always for you brethren, as it is meet because that your faith groweth exceedingly and the love or charity of every one of you all towards each other aboundeth. I think it's interesting how they change the word to charity. It's not charity, it's love.
It's love and giving that love to other people.
You know, if, if, if I as a teacher, if I can sit back and see people grow in believing, it is the most wonderful thing. That's why like when we started these home fellowships or this home fellowship, it is such a blessing to me to see people and to see the growth and to talk and to fellowship with like minded believers.
On these podcasts, you don't really get that. And I've been doing these podcasts probably six or seven years, maybe even eight, a long time. But you don'. The faces, you don't get to connect in that way and to see it is a, is a, is a man. It's a wonderful thing and to know that the love is changing. Somebody in our fellowship was just talking about how they walked away. We had had a conversation about don't even just to walk past, walk past. God tells you to walk past. My brother was talking about this walk past the evil. Don't even get yourself involved in it. And he was explaining to me how he had just witnessed, just went through this situation and and this happened. He walked past and how blessed he was. It is a blessing to see those grow in faith grow in believing and not just knowing the scripture. It's working it and activating it in your life.
Believing what is said and walking in it.
If you jump over to second Thessalonians, chapter 2, verse 13. But we are bound or under obligation to give thanks always to God for you brethren, beloved of the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you to safety and salvation through sanctification. Sanctification, which is to set in a state corresponding to God's nature of the Holy Spirit and faith of the truth.
I did a teaching on calling God called the night day. He called or he called the night night. He called or brought name to the day day. He brought name to you. And the name that he named you is a son.
He named you from the foundations, when the whole world was created from the foundations. He knew that you would be a son of God. And he summoned and called you and he sanctified you. He set you in a state corresponding to his nature. His nature is not a five senses nature, it's a spiritual nature. And that's why you can't, you can't have perfect peace from the five senses. You, you have to have that peace from above. And that comes through believing.
Where do you put your mind? Where do you put your thoughts? Where do you stay every single day? Do you stay in a place where you give reverential awe to God in all thy ways? Acknowledge him and he shall direct thy path? Are you acknowledging God in your direction, in your states, in the way you work, the way you walk?
What's crazy about it is it's not out of service, it's out of love.
Because once you start to do that, you're going to start to feel God's grace. That peace, which is that undisturbed state of well being and great or in grace, will make you full. Those two things, God's grace and the state of peace, will fill you up in the instrument of it, through the instrument of the epignosis. Having a true and personal relationship with God, where you hear from him and you heed his advice.
If you don't hear from God, if you don't listen to this stuff, if you don't put it in your mind, if you don't have a relationship with God that is above and beyond the word. Do you talk to God throughout the day? Do you ask God to help if something goes wrong? What's your first instinct? Is it to figure it out yourself or is it to go to the source because it's a spiritual state you can get to that you should be in, honestly, where you just go to God, he knows what's going on. He opens the doors. He closes the doors in all thy ways. Acknowledge him and he shall absolutely direct your path.
Now this is going a little long, but I want to finish up with this now. Our Lord Jesus Christ himself, verse 16. And God our Father, which loved us and hath given Us an everlasting calling of good hope through grace.
Speak to or comfort your hearts, which is the seed of your distinctive character, and establish you in every good word and work.
He speaks to your distinctive character.
What makes you you and the things you think about, they make you you. What are you thinking about on a daily date, on a day to day basis, on a minute to minute basis?
Where do you live? Do you live in anxious thought which is in direct opposition to God? Do you live in your five senses, which is in direct opposition to God? Or do you live with the connection to the Holy Spirit? Were you talking to God?
Where do you live? Where do you set your life? And if you haven't said it and started to believe this, starting to put this stuff in your mind, I mean, I'm sorry, that sucks. It's a law. It will change your life for the good.
Even if you're. Even if you have it all, it'll change your life for the good.
Pray the big prayers today. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. Again, when you pray, it's a specific word. It's praying to God, not to Jesus Christ. Praying to God, Lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a great day. God bless you and your family and I'll talk to you tomorrow.
Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much for today.
[00:08:55] Speaker B: I pray for my neck. Do you just get this thing, this kink out, Father? And I'm thankful that that's gonna go. I pray for just everything that's going on. I thank you for getting me through the last couple weeks. Everything is finished and complete. I pray for the relationship with my brother, that you continually work with me to not get on his case when it's, when it's not necessary and that it happens before I say something. I thank you for my family and I pray for the little ones that.
[00:09:22] Speaker A: You just work on their attitudes, that.
[00:09:25] Speaker B: You take care of them and bless them and continually work with them. I pray for my sister and everything that's going on with her, that she's just blessed and just how much talent you gave her. And I thank you for my family, my dad, my stepmom and my mom, and just everyone that I'm surrounded by, that you bless them and take care of them and for each and every one of your believers, that you protect him. And I lift up a great day to you today. In the name my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
