[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, but beautiful day?
[00:00:06] Speaker B: I hope you're having a great day.
[00:00:07] Speaker A: Today and I hope you are excited today. Yes. Today is a day that the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy, continually give God that sacrifice of praise. Praise him and thank him. I'm kind of in a running around because I gotta go to the gym this morning. I don't want to talk about it, but. Which is ridiculous considering can hardly walk. But I wanted to go over a little bit this morning. In Second Thessalonians, we go to Second Thessalonians chapter, chapter two, verse 13. It says. But we are bound or are under obligation to give thanks always to God for you brethren, beloved of the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you to safety and salvation through, through the sanctification of the Holy Spirit and belief or faith of the truth. And the sanctification is to set in a state of corresponding nature when you were cho. You've been chosen before the foundations of the world and it's always good to recognize who you are. You have been chosen and set in a place that's corresponding to God's nature because you have the Holy Spirit in you. The minute you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, there's manifestations of that.
There's so many different things that you receive when you, when you have it. But all it takes is to believe in the name of his son. Romans 10, 9, 10. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart, that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto safety or salvation or preservation.
Once you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you're given a lot and it's really a blessing. Verse 16, verse 16.
Now, our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, which hath loved us and gave us an everlasting consolation and everlasting calling and good hope through grace, comfort, or speak to or pacify your heart, hearts, and establish you in every good work, indeed speaks to and pacifies your heart.
When you start to go to God and you start to build that relationship with God, he's going to work with you to develop that, that peace in your life. It takes peace and it takes knowledge and it takes understanding. It takes reading just to get to know God and to know the things that. That if you think on it, he's going to come. He. Well, he's going to comfort you regardless. But if you think on it and do the things that he wants you to do, it just cleans your life up. And then you're also not worried about whether or not you're doing something wrong. Again, gain does not equal godliness. I just did a teaching on this actually over the weekend. Gain does not equal godliness. If you're doing really well, it doesn't mean you're just. You are like completely. You have this great relationship with God and vice versa. If you're not doing well, it doesn't mean that you don't have this relationship with God. Gain is not godliness. And it's hard to wrap your mind around that sometimes. Again, like, I know that we went through a really, really, really trying time in our life. We were broke for a long time, but I knew that God was going to take care of it. I didn't understand what God was doing or why, but I knew he was going to take care of it. And it's the same thing in your life. If you haven't received the things that you've asked for, that does not mean you're walking in some bad way. There's a time and a place for everything. God sets the day side by side in order that we find nothing past Him. There might be a reason. And for me, I know that God developed a life outside of work, to where I care about my life outside of work. My work does not make me who I am. I'm thankful for it. I'm thankful for what God's given me. And that's what he gives you. Here. God will speak to and is speaking to your heart, which is probably why we have that godly grief that worketh a change in your moral position where you know that you need to change something.
It's all the time, though. And he pacifies and he loves you. Finally, brethren, pray for us that the word and this is the inner words, as connected to the thought of Christ, may run and have free course and be glorified even as it is with you. And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men. For all have not faith, but Christ is faithful, who shall establish you and guard you from the wicked one.
Once you believe, and once you get this stuff in here and you believe in the name of His Son again. And I think the reason why Christ is in here so much is because when you pray, you gotta pray in the Name of Jesus Christ. It's through him is the access to God.
And he, like we are gonna be and are protected by God, by a company of angels. Your life is protected. He's gonna feed you. Don't worry about what you're eating. Don't worry about what you're drinking. He's gonna take care of you in all.
[00:05:17] Speaker B: You just gotta turn to him.
[00:05:19] Speaker A: Pray the big prayers today. If you're dealing with something, pray supplications, prayers, a personal need. Lift it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Look forward to that. He's gonna take care of it. Be thankful. Ask God to open the doors or to close those doors sometimes. You never know what's best. Ask him to take care of you every single moment of every day and be blessed. Lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ and thanking him. Have a great day. God bless you and your family. Talk to you tomorrow.
Let your soul and spirit fly into the misty well. Heavenly Father, thank you for just everything.
[00:06:00] Speaker B: You do for me and my family. I thank you for prioritizing the things that matter. And again, I ask you with this new venture that the eye doesn't get taken off the ball with everything else that's going on. And I'm very thankful for last night and just getting that house rented. I think that just, just amazing. And I'm thankful for the light you put into my family. I'm thankful for my mom and just everything that's going on with her and my stepdad. And I also pray for the rest of my family members. And again, I just thank you for the moments of my life and the things you've given me and for your son and what he did for us, that we can live this way. I lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
