[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, but beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today and I hope you are excited today because today is the day that the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise him and thank him. Be joyful. I was reading this morning and it had a lot to do with the law. And I was just thinking about how a couple weeks ago I was in deep thought and how I've really cleaned up my life in this sense that I'm not really. I am upright even according to the. [00:00:43] Speaker B: Law in most ways. [00:00:45] Speaker A: And I was thinking about how I was very proud of myself, but yet I'll go over and I'll steal an apple from my stepdad. And it makes him crazy. There's these little things that you can always clean up. And it's not that God. It's not that God is going to punish, because that's really not the way it goes. You have the carnal nature which you are born with. The carnal man that is condemned to death, that walks towards death. And you have this spiritual nature that walks towards life. And whatever you choose to put on, you put on like a T shirt. You either put on the T shirt of the Spirit where you're walking through life, do all of its manifestations godly, or you walk in the carnal which is walking towards that vanity, that. That. That which soon vanishes. But I was reading this morning and this, this came up a bunch. If you go to Proverbs, chapter 28, verse 5, it says, Evil men understand not judgment, but they that seek the Lord understand all things. When you start to go to God and you start to read the Word, you start to put life into perspective. Understanding is understanding the difference between good and evil. Once you start reading the Word, you understand that and it's easy to put on. It's easy to change your mind because there's so many things in here that are contrary to what the world will tell you. Verse 6. Better is the poor or a poor one that walketh in his integrity than he that is perverse or walketh in double ways, though they be rich. Regardless of whether or not you have money or you don't have money. To walk uprightly is by believing. It's by having a firm reliance on God and thinking about the things of God, listening to what he says to you. Heeding his advice, which is in the word. Verse 7. Whoso keepeth the law is an intelligent son. But he that is a companion of righteous men or righteous men shameth his Father. The laws were put into place so that either you. When you. When you followed those laws, you were going to heaven. So you were righteous and upright in God's eyes if you followed the law. Now, it's based on whether or not you believe in the name of Jesus Christ. Once you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you're righteous. It still doesn't take away that. That the laws in the sense of like it is best to not do wrong, to not do evil. You're walking closer to God when you do that. You're heeding the advice of God when you're doing. But. But you are considered. You are considered an intelligent son, a wise son. And for those of you who want to be wise and want to be smart, who have that chip on their shoulder about that, follow the law, follow the things that are in here. He that by usury and unjust gain increases his substance, he shall. He shall gather it for him that will pity the poor, this ursary and unjust gain. A lot of that has to do with bribing if you're easily bribed, which is really interesting, because I want to. Actually, I was. Let me jump over here really quick. If you go to verse 29, verse 4, it says, the king by judgment establishes the land, but he that receiveth gifts or is open to bribes overthroweth it. Now, isn't this true? Doesn't matter if you're republican, doesn't matter if you're democrat. Anybody who's open to bribes will destroy the land. This stuff is in the Word, which is why I love it so much. If you jump down to Proverbs 28, verse 23, it says, he that rebuketh or hath sharp criticism of a man afterwards shall find more favor than he that flattereth with a tongue. Now, for those of you who. This is something that my brother does really well, that I have a hard time doing, which is being direct, sharp criticism. Over time you'll come out smelling sweeter than those who just give you nonsense. That flattereth, that flattereth with their tongue. These are principles you got to know and principles you got to change your mind to if you want to change as a person. This is how you do it. You follow what the word says and you become that person. Verse 25. He that is of a proud heart stir us up strife and Those are those contentious arguments. But he that putteth his trust in the Lord shall be made fat, shall be given things. You got to put your trust in God. You got to think about the things that are important in life and follow the instruction. That's why I love Proverbs and Ecclesiastes. They're easily. They're little nuggets of information you can take, consume and. And become a better person. But regardless, pray the big prayers today. Pray to God. When you pray, you pray to God. Never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God. You lift it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a great day. God bless you and your family. And I'll talk to you tomorrow. And when the foghorn breaks, I wanna hear it. I don't have the fear. [00:05:52] Speaker B: Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much just for today. I thank you for getting my Bible back. I'm very, very thankful for that. I thank you that it's getting nice and I can start golfing again. I thank you for the people that you put in my life, for the business. I pray that you open the door and show us everything when it comes to advertising and marketing, that we just do this the proper way as we continue. And again, I thank you for the safety of my family. I thank you for the little ones, the boy, my nephews and my niece, and that you just continue to bless them. I'm thankful that my sister's home and. Yeah, I'm just very, very grateful for the things that you've given me in my life. I lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and savior Christ Jesus.
