[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today and I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will. Rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful. Be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank him. And be joyful.
[00:00:25] Be joyous. If you continue to pray for my brother, we would appreciate that. The family.
[00:00:30] Yeah, he's just. He's just sick right now. It's going to be all right. I know it's going to be all right. But, you know, prayers are always a good thing. This is going to be relatively fast this morning. I have to leave early, of course, it's crazy town. But I want to go over this. If you go to First Peter, chapter 5, verse 5, it says, likewise ye younger. Submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you. Be subject one another and be clothed with humility, for God resisteth the proud and giveth grace unto the humble.
[00:01:01] Submit yourselves, yea, be subject one to another. We are as believers, to care for one another.
[00:01:08] Christ Jesus gave us that example of just being in servitude you just got to take care of, even if it's not your instinct. These are the things you got to put in your mind to change your heart, to change who you are. Because once you are and once you become humble and you do serve people, it's amazing what happens. Verse 6. Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God that he may exalt you in due time.
[00:01:35] There's a time for every purpose, even in work. I don't know where this is in here, but it talks about how it's God. You're working for God, not with eye service, not as man pleasers, but God that giveth the increase. God's going to exalt you in the. In the due time. In due time. And, you know, I can kind of see this throughout life, especially when you have, like, if you're called to a ministry because you might not be ready for it, and God knows that God's going to work with you. If you've been told stuff to go do or that's a little mind blowing and it might be a little outside of your wheelhouse, God knows what your reaction is going to be. It might take years. It took me years to start doing this kind of stuff.
[00:02:22] I knew six years before I started. I was like, ha, ha. I really don't want to do this. But God knows. And God knows your heart.
[00:02:30] Verse 7. Casting all your care upon him, for he careth for you. And I love this because he actually cares for you. If he didn't care for you, he wouldn't have put it in here.
[00:02:45] He cares for you, casting all your cares upon him. Give it to him.
[00:02:50] Give him every single thing you're worried about today, tomorrow, every moment you're worried about, even if it's relational, spiritual. And this is the reason why. Be sober, be vigilant, or keep watch. Because the adversary, the devil, as a roaring lion walking about, seeking whom he may devour, whom resisteth, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
[00:03:16] The adversary is out there looking to devour people, and we have God looking to protect us. Humble yourself, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, casting all your care upon him. It's a spiritual warfare you deal with.
[00:03:32] And if you haven't seen it, especially recently, I mean, it's insane. It's out there, everywhere. Go to God. Pray to God. Stay focused on what's done, what's important.
[00:03:42] Verse 10. But the God of all grace, and I also love this. The God of Jacob. Jacob did some unruly things, and God chose him. Grace is that undeserved favor. I was just asked. My nephew asked me what grace meant.
[00:03:57] It's having undeserved favor. It's loving people, and they don't deserve anything. You just love them because that's what you're giving them, grace. And that undeserved favor that God has for us is our God. That's the God he names himself by, but the God of all grace who hath called us again, You've been summoned. You've been called unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus. After that, ye have suffered for a while.
[00:04:25] Make you perfect, establish, strengthen and settle you. And I'm not sure out of those four things, you can have a more settled life. I love it. Make you perfect, establish you, strengthen you and settle you.
[00:04:40] Settle your mind, settle your hearts.
[00:04:43] God is so good. And when you start to go to him and start to change your mind, it's going to start to cause effect.
[00:04:51] And the effect and the outcome is phenomenal. Even if it's not immediate, it's phenomenal.
[00:04:57] Pray the big prayers today. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. Again, when you pray, you always pray to God, never to Jesus Christ. It won't go anywhere. You pray to God lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a great day. God bless you and your family and I'll talk to you tomorrow.
[00:05:25] Well Heavenly Father thank you so much just for everything you do for us and how you do it. I'm very, very thankful for the moments of my life. I do pray for my bro that you can get him back to 100% that Dr. Brown figures all that out and that he can just be be good. I thank you for his family and that you just protect him and for Greta that you take care of her and I just pray for each and every moment of my life for the little ones and just for the blessing. I pray for the business that it continues to grow and for our country and everything that's going on with that and I just thank you again for just be in there and for your son. I lift up a great day to you in the name my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
