[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning. How are you on another fine, fine, beautiful day. [00:00:07] Speaker B: I hope you're having a great day today and I hope you are excited. [00:00:10] Speaker A: Today because today is the day that the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. [00:00:14] Speaker B: We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement, to be thankful, be happy, continually give God that sacrifice of praise. Praise him and thank him. [00:00:25] Speaker A: So I'm going over this teaching and I'm working it, and it's just this inheritance thing is really interesting. And I, I did, I was reading this morning. [00:00:34] Speaker B: Normally I don't do teachings on Saturday. [00:00:36] Speaker A: But I was reading this morning and. [00:00:37] Speaker B: I wanted to actually get this down. [00:00:39] Speaker A: Because I'm understanding it. And when I understand something, sometimes you know how you forget it later. I, I'm an audio learner, so I want to have this for myself. But if you go to Ephesians, chapter one, verse 11, actually, know what? Let's go. Chapter one, verse 10. It says, in order that in the dispensation or the administration of the fullness of times, he might gather together in one all things in Christ which are in heaven or which are in the heavens, and which are on the earth, even remaining in him. And I love this for two reasons. There's gonna, there's an administration that in the fullness of times, when God chooses, he's gonna gather all things together in Christ which are in the heavens and which are on the earth. Verse 11. In whom we we also, or in whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will. Now this having obtained an inheritance, this is the only place in the Bible this is this word is, is written, so there is significance in it. And this obtained an inheritance is to receive a portion of an inheritance, or to obtain by lot. Now, if you, if you don't understand what obtained by lot is, again, what I love, what I love about the Word is that you can go and you can work the Word and figure out what God means by all this. If you go to Numbers, chapter 26, verse 52, it says, and the Lord spake unto Moses, saying unto these, the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names, to the many or to the greater in number, thou shalt give the more inheritance. And, and to the few, or to the smaller number, thou shalt give the less inheritance. To every one shall his inheritance be given according to those that were numbered of him notwithstanding, the land shall be divided by lot according to the names of the tribes of their fathers. They shall inherit according to the lot shall the possession thereof be divided between many and few. Now what this is talking about is that when they took over, when the sons of Israel went and they took over the land they were given, they. They had the number themselves and then they were given by number according to the tribes, God gave them an inheritance is the point. They were given an inheritance and they and they cast lots or like, roll the dice to decide based on the. The size of the number based on their like. If. If my brother and I casted lots between the land, let's say we owned 100 acres and in order to divide the land up, we cast lots. And then you would figure out which piece of the land you received between you and your brother. And if there's five people, then obviously the lots were smaller. If there's two people, the lots are larger. The point is, is that God gave them an inheritance. And look at what happened throughout the histories of the world. You can look back and see that when God gave the inheritance, they received the inheritance. We on the other hand, have an inheritance in the heavens, and it's apportioned to us or given to us by God. If you go back to Ephesians, chapter 1, verse 11, in whom also we have obtained an inheritance, we have received the apportion the the portion given to us by God, being predestinated or foreordained according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will. The person who gave us our inheritance is God, and that God is the one who energizes and is working right. Verse 12 to the end. That we should be to the praise upon or the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. The whole point to the end is that we should be to the praise of his glory. He did all these things and the end of it is that we're pray that we are the praise of the glory of God. Verse 13. In whom. Now this in whom is there? It's an ellipsis. And if I mean it's a whole thing, I'm not going to go into it, but this is what it means. In whom ye were made an inheritance also or allotted as God's own inheritance. Not only did you receive an inheritance from God, you are God's inheritance. You don't think God cares for every single hair on your head? He looks at you as his inheritance, his portion. You are his portion and every single child of his you care for. So not only did we receive a portion in the heavens, we received the inheritance of being God's inheritance. God's portion in whom also ye trusted. After that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed or affixed with that Holy Spirit of the promised, which is the Ernst, or the pledge of our inheritance. Until the redemption of the purchased possession, until Christ comes back. What you and you receive the inheritance which you have in the heavens right now until he comes back, you have the sealed inheritance. And that pledge is the Holy Spirit that rests within you. The manifestations of the nine gifts are the manifestations of that Holy Spirit. That's what you have right now. And that's proof that you have the same inheritance in the heavens. And you have a lot with God, a portion and a shared portion of with God right now. And you're God's inheritance. You're God's portion. We have an incredible thing right now. And that's why that ambassador thing I'm really interested in. Because we live on. We are here but for. For a moment. This world is not my home. I'm just a passing through. I don't know if you ever heard that song. I should probably figure. Figure out a place and play it. This is just but for a moment, a moment. And we are citizens and out from the citizenry of God. And we are under God's sovereignty. And if you're an ambassador, you. You are in a place in a new nation. But your citizenship and your rights rest with. With the place where you're from. And we are out from the origins of God. We are citizens of heaven. And I just. I just think it's great. I just think it's great. He cares for you. You are his portion. We are his portion. And he's already allotted for you a space in heaven. And I'm just very thankful to be in that space. Pray the big prayers today lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. Again, when you pray, you always pray to God, never to Jesus Christ. It's not biblical. You pray to God, lifting it up. [00:07:30] Speaker B: In the name of Jesus Christ. [00:07:31] Speaker A: Have a great day. Happy Saturday. God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow. Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much for today. [00:07:48] Speaker B: I just thank you for being able to go to you and remove the thoughts that are just. Just. I don't even know what you call them. Evil or just wrong. I thank you that we can go to you in every situation and pray and talk to you and cast out things in the name of the Son and of your son. And I'm just grateful for all of that. I pray for a great day today, for great blessings, for my golf game to be on point, and yeah, just for beautiful weather and just a time for everybody. And yeah, I'm just thankful for that time. I lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and Savior.
