[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning.
[00:00:03] Speaker B: How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day?
[00:00:07] Speaker A: I hope you're having a great day.
[00:00:08] Speaker B: Today, and I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement.
[00:00:20] Speaker A: Be thankful, be happy, continually give God.
[00:00:23] Speaker B: That sacrifice of praise. It's a sacrifice. That's the only sacrifice that God asks of us now. Which is kind of amazing considering what the had to do for sin offerings. And I mean, if you go back in the Old Testament, it was ridiculous the stuff they had to do.
[00:00:38] Speaker A: And I am so thankful that Christ.
[00:00:39] Speaker B: Died that we don't have to do any of it. Once you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you're righteous. You're set forth as righteous. You're a son of God. You're not. You're not a servant, you're a son. Which is an incredible place to be. And I've been working on this inheritance thing. I'm going to skip that today a little bit. I was reading in First Peter and I don't know, it's just blessed me. If you go to First Peter, chapter one, verse three, it says, blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten or sired us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
When Adam transgressed against God, God, we lost that connection with God.
Adam had the connection and he lost it Through a transgression.
He sinned. And at that moment death, the state of death was created and entered in. And now everybody lives in that state of death. In the sense that your carnal nature, the one that's out from this ground, or, or the dirt that's going back into the dirt, everybody's headed towards death.
But because of God's active compassion and that love that he has for you so sent his son. His son died for us. And through that sacrifice we got the connection back. Once you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, Romans 10, 9, 10, that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart, that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the mouth or with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness. And with the mouth, confession is made unto safety or salvation. It's through saying that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior and believing in your heart that God raised him from the dead. It's done.
And you have that reconnection with God. But what I love about it is he has it's active compassion. He is abundant and abounding in active compassion. Not just compassion.
He actively thinks about the things that you need in your life. He knows what's going on in your life.
So anyways, again, verse three. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy that act of compassion hath begotten or sired us again unto a lively hope we have, a hope of living eternal life. He brought us right back to that lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. And the thing is, is that when Christ was born, he was born the new spiritual man.
That's the significance. He was born eternal.
He's a spiritual man. The second Adam and Eve. And when you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you are, you become a son of God because you, you are born spiritually new.
Verse 4. To an inheritance. What are we born to?
We are sired and born and sired as sons of God and born to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven. For, you know, everything in this earth we work and all this stuff, you don't know what it's for. And if you go through, I think it's Ecclesiastes, you know, you work so hard and you build up all these things, but what are you doing? Why you give it to your kids? Well, what if your kids don't have wisdom and equity and understand how to produce and take care of themselves? And maybe they do, but what about their kids?
It's all going away. It's all going to be wiped out anyways. But God gave us an inheritance, an incorruptible inheritance, something that can't be defiled, something that can't be ruined.
And he's given you that portion right now it talks about looking into the heavenlies. Set your eyes or set your heart on the things above, not on things of this earth. And you're to work and you're to labor and you're to, you know, you don't be idle. God tells you not to be idle. You know, you got to work in life and it's great to be successful. It's a lot of fun to work and become that.
But the point is, is that we are to set our sight and our hopes as ambassadors.
Your sovereignty comes from God. You are a son of God in the kingdom of heaven.
You have a portion, a lot, apportioned to you by God.
And we're just here but for a moment. And sometimes it's hard to remember that.
Don't forget who you are in this life. Walk and stand upright and be thankful. Praying to God, talking to God. The whole point of this life is to get to know God, to learn to have reverential all towards God, to start to put him in your thoughts, in all thy ways, in all thy ways which everything you do, acknowledge God and He shall absolutely direct your path.
That's what we're to do. It's to learn godliness, which is the internal manifestation. It's the internal unveiling of thinking about him and building a true relationship about him. Godliness is not going to church.
It's getting to know God, talking to God, working with God, having God work with you in your life. Everybody's going through trials and tribulations, tribulations. Work with patience, patience, experience and experience. Hope and hope will never cause shame.
Learning to have and respecting God and learning to have that reverential awe of God and going to God will get you to the point of having an expectation of future good at all times.
This life is just but for a moment and you're special.
Pray the big prayers today. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. Again. When you pray, you always pray to God, never to Jesus Christ. If you pray to Jesus Christ, it won't go anywhere. Pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a great day. God bless you and your family and I'll talk to you tomorrow and where that foghorn blows.
Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much.
[00:06:48] Speaker A: For today and for everything that's going on.
[00:06:50] Speaker B: I ask you to just work with.
[00:06:51] Speaker A: My thoughts, just get me comfortable again, get grounded again, that I'm not thinking about things that aren't beneficial.
[00:06:59] Speaker B: I pray for today's little journey that we can get through packing up the.
[00:07:04] Speaker A: Warehouse and starting to move and that it's a blessing. I pray for the protection and I'm very, very thankful for the healing of my brother, that you continually take care of him and get him to 100%. I'm thankful for all your believers out there that are working the Word and that are moving the Word and how many people it's helping and how much of a blessing it is to read it and that you help me and.
[00:07:25] Speaker B: Yeah, I just ask for a great day today.
[00:07:26] Speaker A: I lift up everything to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
