It’s all for life and godliness – 2 Peter 2-3

² Grace (loving disposition) and peace (the state of undisturbed wellbeing) be multiplied (make you full) unto you through (the instrument) the knowledge (epignosis: a true and personal relationship with the object where you heed from him and heed its advice) of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

³ According (on the ground that) as his divine (Godly, inherent) power hath (been) given unto us (as to) all things that pertain unto (for) life and godliness (real and spiritual relation to God), through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue (that which gives man his worth, his efficiency, his moral excellence and quality):
