[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today, and I hope you are excited today, because today is the day at the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful. Be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank him. Be ye joyful and be ye joyous. I this morning.
So I've been really working the Word, and I'm just very, very thankful. There's times in your life, I think, where you go through and you really get into it. And then if you make a commitment to read every day, which I did 30 years ago almost at this point, when you make that commitment. That's actually not true. More like 20, 25 years ago. When you make that commitment, there's gonna be times when you really are in it, and there's times when you're really not. Well, I.
And depending on what time you read the Word and what you're doing in life, you got to be careful because you can sit down and read and read nothing for 20 minutes, or you can actually, because you're thinking about a hundred different things, or you can read and really start to absorb what it says. Well, I've been really working the dunamis, which is that inherent power that we have the authority and. Right. The next one, I think is like, oh, it's exousia, I think, is the word. But it's. Then you have the liberty and right to use it. Then there's the receiving, where you receive something, you just take it, embrace it, accept it. And then there's the lumbano, where you accept it and you actually do something with it. And the thing is, is that we have Holy Spirit. When you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you're born spiritually new. You have it.
You have the inherent power that God gives you, the spiritual ability that he gives you. It's just whether or not you turn it on, you push the gas pedal, knowing that you have the liberty and right to do it.
And that's not always an easy thing. And it's just kind of blowing my mind because I grew up with it. I knew that. I knew all this stuff. I just didn't know it biblically, like, where it was biblically. And it's really. I don't know, it's just been a blessing. And once I get to the point where I really feel like I can Teach it. I'll go through it. But I was reading that this morning, and then I jumped over to this, and this really blessed me. If you go to 2 Corinthians, chapter 5, verse 16, it says, wherefore henceforth we know no one or no man according to the flesh or the carnal nature.
Yea, though we have known Christ the Messiah according to the flesh or according to that carnal nature, yet no longer. Verse 17. Therefore, if any man be remaining within the Messiah or Christ, there is a new creation. Old things or the ancient things are passed away. Behold, all things are become freshly new.
When you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you're baptized with Holy Spirit, you're baptized spiritually new. You're not a servant to God anymore. You're a Son of God. And this is something that I've really had to work out in my mind. And this isn't. This just happened a couple weeks ago where I realized, like, oh my gosh, this whole time I've thought of myself as a servant. But really there's a different type of authority when you realize you are a son, you're not a servant to God, you're a son of God. Big difference. Now there's reverential awe, obviously, but it's good to know. Verse 18. Excuse me. And all things are out from the origins of God, who reconnected or reconciled us to himself through the Messiah, through Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of that reconnection or the reconciliation.
[00:03:44] Speaker A: When Adam transgressed against God, the spiritual connection was split, was. Was separated. And that authority and that legal right was given to the adversary, to the devil, to the devil spirit that now worketh in the children of the disobedience, that authority was given away.
Now, with Christ dying for you and finishing the. The whole law, finishing everything, we have been given the ministry, not only the reconnection to God, but the ministry or the testimony or the good news of that reconnection, verse 19, to wit, that God was in the Messiah, reconnecting the world to himself, not counting their trespasses unto them, and hath placed in us the spoken word of that reconnection.
Once you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, not only are you reconnected to God, but you have the spoken word.
It's actually as connected to the inner thoughts. You have God's inner thoughts of the reconnection in you.
And that's where that godly grief, it worketh a change in your moral position. You ever go through life and you start feeling Beating yourself up, especially after you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, after you're born again, you're going through times and you're beating yourself up because you know you should be changing something, Something is working in you to be like, yeah, I gotta change this.
That, that's godly sorrow that worketh a change in your moral position. That's because you've been given the ministry, the spirit and God's inner thoughts towards the reconnection to him.
The carnal man walks towards death, the spiritual man walks towards life.
And when you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you are a new spiritual creation. That's verse 17. Therefore, if any man be in the Messiah, he is a new creation, a new creature. Old things are passed away. Behold, they are become freshly new.
You are spiritually a new being and you're holy. You have holy Spirit opposed to the five senses, which is unholy.
It's just a miracle where we live, it's a miracle where we are in life.
It's a miracle that you have what you have. And sometimes based on what's going on in life, you can forget that.
You got to put the Word in. You got to renovate and renew your mind to what the Word says. You have been given the spiritual ability in within man, strengthened with everything. You have Christ in you, the hope of glory. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. No matter what's going on in your life, you can do this. You have God with you. You have Christ, you have the Holy Spirit, you have an assembly of. Or what is that?
You're covered by an assembly of angels or whatever. That's not the word. But you understand what I'm saying. You have all things right now and all you have to do is give God thanksgiving and pray. When you're dealing with stuff and you don't pray to Christ, you pray to God. So pray the big prayers today. Pray the small prayers, lift them up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray, you always pray to God, never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ, giving reverence where reverence is due. With that sacrifice of thanksgiving. Have a great day. God bless you and your family. Talk to you tomorrow.
[00:07:18] Speaker A: Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much for today. I pray that you just get me through what's about to go down today, that the chairs get done, that the sofa gets done, that everybody works, that we can get it. I don't feel taken advantage of. I thank you for yesterday and getting us through the framing and how wonderful that came together. I pray that it's all straight and true and that it's also safe in there. I thank you again for protecting your own. Protecting those people that work with us, but also the people that are your believers, that you just bless them. And just the way your word works is incredible. I thank you for your son, that he died for us, that we can live this way. And I lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.
