[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? Hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because.
[00:00:11] Speaker B: Today is the day the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will. Rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you.
[00:00:15] Speaker A: Have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement.
[00:00:19] Speaker B: Be thankful, Be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice.
[00:00:22] Speaker A: Praise.
[00:00:23] Speaker B: Praise him and thank him.
[00:00:25] Speaker A: So I, yeah, I'm still reading, I'm.
[00:00:27] Speaker B: Still working this whole thing out.
[00:00:29] Speaker A: The word now, I'll go over it as soon as I.
[00:00:32] Speaker B: As soon as I button it up.
[00:00:33] Speaker A: But when we started our business, every, pretty much every, every moment or every step through that, we went to God, asked him what to do, asked him to close those doors, asked him to open those doors. And they did.
[00:00:44] Speaker B: Really, you know, finally got over the hump.
[00:00:47] Speaker A: And I'm praying that we stay over that hump. You know, obviously we keep growing, but we started another business. And today it just occurred to me that we're not doing the same thing. It's amazing how you can start relying on the success before or relying on the money you have in the bank.
[00:01:03] Speaker B: Or any of that sort of thing.
[00:01:05] Speaker A: And you kind of forget what got you there.
God is the one. And when you focus on God, when you point your face into the direction of God and that light, that glorious light shines on you in your day to day walk, your day to day course of life, you're gonna come out the other side. Well, you're gonna come out the other side on good footing, on sure footing. He is my rock. He is my refuge rock for a place, or it's a representative, a symbol for firmness. He's my rock. He's my high tower.
If you're in a place where you need protected, where do you go? You go to higher ground.
God is that higher ground. You just gotta put your face and turn your face towards him during all times, in times of good and in times of bad. And I think it's easy in times of good to kind of forget it. I always condemn myself because I'm all. I'm like, oh my gosh. All I do is focus on God when I'm in need, when I'm freaking out. Now, I do give God thanks throughout the day, but when I'm freaking out, that's when I'm like, really with God. And sometimes I laugh about it because maybe that's what it's about.
Maybe that's what it's about. I don't know. But Anyways, if you go to Colossians, chapter 2, verse 6, it says, as ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him now. Lord is, you're choosing Christ as your Lord and Savior. You're choosing to follow what Christ said. And Christ said that he was a son of God.
But in so doing, in so choosing Christ, you're choosing his Father God.
The laws were sent in order for us to find Christ.
Before there was laws, there was sin in the world.
Then the laws came and God showed everybody what sin was.
But all that was to bring us to Christ. Because Christ is the fulfillment of that law.
And you have them the minute you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto safety and salvation. You're choosing to follow what Christ said apart from Law.
Verse 7, or I'll do it again. As he therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him. Set your course of life in him, rooted or taking root and built up in him and established by the faith. You're not established by law, you're established by faith.
Christ died in order that you can live in the liberty. Stand in that liberty wherewith Christ hath made you free, and be not entangled again with the weight or yoke of the bondage to the law.
7. Rooted and built up in him, established by the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Once you realize what Christ did, all you can do is thank. Thank God for sending him. Thank Christ for being the person willing to die for us. By one man, sin entered into the world. Adam transgressed against God. The connection was severed. Christ didn't and died for us. In order that we can be reconnected to God, we are given the ministry of the reconnection, which is believing in the name of Jesus Christ.
Verse 8. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit or false witness. After the tradition of men, after the rudiments or the elementary rules of the world, and not after Christ.
I think about this growing up. The golden rule was treat others as you treat yourself. Or something like that. They changed that.
They changed it to treat others as they want to be treated. It's a twisting of God's word.
It's a small twisting. But if you start following what they said and not what God says, It becomes cloudy in your mind.
There's a reason why the Word of God stands. It's why the Word of God stands. Sure, there's a reason why he tells you to do certain things.
Lean not unto thine own understanding.
Because when you walk with God, you walk towards life and all of its manifestations. The life that God wants for you, it's going to lead you to corruption.
You have to know the Word and you have to put it on in your mind. You have to know what the goodness is. The goodness of God. I mean, there's so much goodness of God, it's insane. It's just. Whether or not you recognize it, there's a reason. Verse 10. Ye are complete in Him. If you don't feel complete, you. You are complete. You gotta put this word on in your mind. You are complete in him, who is the head of all principality and power rooted and built up in him, established by the faith. You gotta believe what God tells you about you and about who you are and that you're no more a servant. And the laws? It's not about the laws. It's about believing and reconnecting with God spiritually.
You have to choose in life. Pray the big prayers today. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray, it's always to God, never to Jesus Christ. It won't go anywhere. You pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ with thanksgiving. Have a great day. God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow.
[00:06:43] Speaker B: Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much for everything you do for us again. I thank you for my sister, that she gets home, that it's a couple days away, and I'm very, very grateful for that to be over with. I thank you again for the people that you put in my life, the little team that you have surrounded me by. It's a. It's a marvelous thing. I thank you and pray for everybody, the. The people I work with, that they can lose the weight that they want to lose. And that it's a blessing. This whole training, everything's a blessing. And the gym's a blessing for them and for us. I thank you for my family and for the goodness of them and the goodness of what you've surrounded me by. And for your son, that he was willing to die, that we could live this way. And I thank you for the spirit that we receive. And. I don't know, it's just a great, great time to walk. Thank you, Father.
[00:07:30] Speaker A: I lift everything up to you in.
[00:07:31] Speaker B: The name of My Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
