[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you? How you been on this fine, fine, beautiful day? Hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day that the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement, to be thankful, be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank him. I appreciate the prayers for my sister. I think she's coming home today. So I appreciate that. If you can continue to pray for Antonio and this whole thing concerning the military and the military exemption, I'd appreciate that. I'm sure he would too. It's been on my heart.
[00:00:40] So, yeah, I just wanted to put that out there. But I've been reading a lot and work in the Word. I started over in Romans and have gone through Ephesians, and I'm just breaking down the carnal man, the spiritual man, everything in between. The law, the fulfillment of the law.
[00:00:57] But when Adam was born, to understand the beginning, when Adam was born out from the dust, right? And then God breathed life into him. So you have body, which is of the dust, you have soul, which God breathed in. And then you have the spirit, which is that spiritual connection with God. When Adam transgressed against God, that spiritual connection died.
[00:01:19] So then you have body and soul. And the thing is, is that body and soul, that body is walking towards corruption. And the state of death was created the minute that Adam transgressed against God. That's why it says, from Dusty. From dusty came from dusty shall go. You go back into the ground. Essentially, that body is walking towards corruption.
[00:01:43] But when Christ, when Jesus Christ was born and died and was raised spiritually new, that new spiritual man, we and you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you are now spiritually, you're a new spiritual creation.
[00:02:00] So you have body, soul, and then you have that spiritual connection. God. That's why it talks about be reconnected or reconciled to God. We are reconnected to him.
[00:02:11] So when I read this in Ephesians, this is why it blesses me so much. If you go to Ephesians, chapter 4, verse 20 says, but ye have not so learned Christ, if so be that you have heard him and have been taught or were instructed by him. As the truth is in Jesus, that ye put off or put away concerning the before conversation, the old man, this is the before manner of the conversation, is the manner of life. That's the translation that ye put off concerning the before manner of life, the old man or the Adam nature which is corrupt or being corrupted according to sinful desire or deceitful lust. That desire to walk in enmity against the law, to do the opposite of what God tells us to do. That desire is the. Is the nature of that dust man, that carnal man.
[00:03:04] And this says put off or put away concerning the before manner of life, that old nature. Verse 23. And be renewed and renewed implies that the whole course of your life is, is now in a different direction.
[00:03:20] Be renewed in the spirit of your reflective consciousness that ye put on like a T shirt. The new spiritual nature, that which is after God is created in righteousness and of a truth, holiness or godliness.
[00:03:37] The new spiritual nature yearns towards life in all of its manifestations.
[00:03:42] It yearns to build the relationship with God.
[00:03:46] So you're in a straight betwixt two. You have the carnal man that is walking towards corruption, and then you have the spiritual man that is walking towards God and life. And you get to choose in life where you're walking, what's the course of life you're setting yourself for. Because the minute you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you are righteous.
[00:04:10] You can't change that. The laws were sent in order for men to become upright and righteous before God and to ultimately find Christ. That's a whole other thing. But that's what it was sent for. So if you did the law, you were righteous. Christ died and the opportunity was given by grace that we can believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you are righteous at that moment. So now you get to choose.
[00:04:36] What life are you choosing? Are you choosing a life of corruption? Or you're choosing a life of the spirit of life and all of its manifestations of building that relationship with God.
[00:04:49] And the beautiful thing is that God gave you the Spirit the minute you believe in the name of Jesus Christ as a comforter, as a help, and then he gave you all these gifts according to that spirit.
[00:05:01] Get the prophecy. I mean, there's like a million. I think there's nine.
[00:05:06] But you get to choose and you get to live your life without that, that condemnation all the time.
[00:05:15] All the time. It's not about your acts, lest any man should work. It's about your relationship. It's about your faith. It's about starting to change your course of life to what's good. Knowing what the result is, is it's not about the punishment if you don't do it.
[00:05:32] It's just a completely opposite way of thinking. And it's a blessing what God did for us.
[00:05:38] By great, I mean it's unbelievable. Pray the big prayers today. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray, you always pray to God, never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ with thanksgiving. Have a great day. God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow.
