We have an opportunity to walk towards God – Philippians 4:11-13, Luke 12:21-24 Philippians 4:11-13 11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content (sufficient in oneself, needing no aid). 12 I know both how to be abased (to bring low, humble), and I know how to abound: every where (in every place) and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all (am strong for all) things through Christ which strengtheneth (imparteth […]

[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today. [00:00:10] Today is the day the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will. Rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful. Be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank him. [00:00:26] So I'm still feeling the financial pressure. I mean, there's so many things that are going on right now, but I'm feeling that financial press crime. [00:00:33] Part of it has to do with me because I'd started this gym, you know, I mean, there's some, there's some parts of this that I, I, it's kind of on my shoulders, but, but it's there. And, and, and you gotta, you gotta learn to renew your thoughts. You gotta learn to renew your minds. Be anxious for not one thing, but in all things. Through prayers to God and prayers of personal need. Let your specific request be declared unto God in that state of peace which surpass, surpasses all understanding shall keep and guard you, your heart essentially from your heart. It'll help, it'll help guard yourself essentially from your mind and your thoughts because it's a spiritual life that we live. [00:01:13] So this morning I was reading in Philippians chapter four and I just think it's, it's ironic that this is what I read, but if you go to verse 11, it says, not that I speak in respect of want, for I have learned in whatsoever state I am therewith to be content or self sufficient or needing no aid. [00:01:32] Regardless of whether you are, you have tons or nothing. [00:01:36] You have to be sufficient, knowing that God is going to take care of each and every situation. [00:01:42] My sufficiency comes from God. It talks about that somewhere in the Word, but I'm going to keep going. [00:01:48] I know both how to be abased and I know how to abound. Abase is to bring lower, to humble, and I know how to abound everywhere and in all things. I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me or imparted strength. [00:02:11] If you're seeing, if you're in a point where you're just lost and you need strength, you got to know that Christ will give you that strength you have. The minute you believe in the name of Jesus Christ. [00:02:24] Romans 10, 9, 10. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead. Thou shalt be saved. You got to say it and you got to believe it. The moment that happens, you're born new, spiritually new. And you have Christ in you. [00:02:40] You have Christ in you. And that in Christ will bring that strength in times of need. [00:02:47] So I read that, and this verse reminds me of Luke. And if you go to Luke, chapter 12, verse 21, it says, so is he that layeth up treasure for himself and is not rich towards God. And he said to his disciples, therefore I say unto you, take no thought for your life what ye shall eat, neither for the body on what ye shall put on the life is more than meat and the body is more than raiment. [00:03:15] Take no thought for your life. You don't need to take thought for the things that you're doing. [00:03:21] God is going to drive you and bring you to a place that he wants you to be in. If you walk towards the carnal, it reaps corruption. If you walk towards the spirit, it reaps life everlasting. And you walk the life that God wants for you. I was reading in the Bollinger, and the Bollinger has the definition, the most specific definitions of Greek words. [00:03:43] And the New Testament was written in ancient Greek. It's the most specific language that's ever been written. [00:03:50] So what does it mean to live? And this just. This is blessed me. To live is to have life. [00:03:56] Not to be happy quotations, but to have life in all or any of its manifestations, the things that God makes visible, from the life of God down to the lowest vegetable. Not to exist. For a thing can exist without living. To live is to have that peculiar property communicated by God to some parts of his creation. He originates and sustains all life by giving it out of himself. In him we live and move and have our being. [00:04:29] It's not just to live, to exist. [00:04:33] It's to have the life that God wants for you. [00:04:37] Therefore I say unto you, take no thought for your life what ye shall eat, neither for the body what ye shall put on the life is more than meat and the body more than raiment. Consider the ravens, for they neither reap nor sow, which neither have storehouse nor barn, and God feedeth them. How much more are ye better than the fowls? [00:05:00] If you're going through life and you and you're discouraged, you got to know that God is for you and with you. [00:05:07] This life is not about the law. It's not about your acts. In that sense, you're righteous. It's about whether or not you face God and commute. Turn your life towards him. [00:05:19] Because you're going to see a different type of life. You're going to have a different type of comfort. It's a spiritual life that we get to walk and that's what Christ died for. In order that we can live this way. And it's just an amazing state to be in. So as I go through these times of freaking out, I've got to rely on God knowing that I went to him, I asked him, he'll cover me. All things work together for good to those that love God, to those that are called according to purpose. He'll cover you. [00:05:50] Look towards him and he'll take care of it. Have a great day today. Pray the big prayers again. Pray the small prayers, but pray prayers of specific need. Praying to God, never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God. Lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. That's what praying means. Have a great day today. God bless you and your family. Talk to you tomorrow. [00:06:23] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much for today. I lift up the situation that you just guide me and specifically in what to do and how to handle everything that's going on. I thank you for the gym that it is almost done and thank you. Thank you very, very, very, very, very thankful for that. I'm also thankful for like it's over, everything that went on from the first till till now that it's done and I'm grateful for getting through. I ask you for direction with the business and what to do in these next steps and how to handle everything. And I thank you for the team that I have surrounding me and just for the goodness of it. I thank you for your word and what it's done for me and provided for me. And I thank you for opening it up that I can just, just work with people and help them out in the same walk and path that I go through. And again, I thank you for your son and what he did for us and just that he was willing to die in order that we can live this way. I just lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
