[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning.
[00:00:02] Speaker B: How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day that the Lord hath made.
[00:00:11] Speaker A: We'll be glad.
[00:00:12] Speaker B: We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you
[00:00:14] Speaker A: have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement.
[00:00:18] Speaker B: Be thankful, be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise.
[00:00:21] Speaker A: Praise him and thank him.
So I'm like, I'm going through these
[00:00:25] Speaker B: waves of emotion right now.
[00:00:27] Speaker A: When it comes to the business, I'm
[00:00:30] Speaker B: having to, if you a little bit history.
[00:00:33] Speaker A: When we started our business, it started
[00:00:35] Speaker B: in retail and it kind of evolved into furniture manufacturing.
[00:00:40] Speaker A: And there was a seven or eight
[00:00:42] Speaker B: year period that I had to learn upholstery. And I just, I never liked it. I didn't like it at all.
However, I had to learn it. It's for family, you know what I mean? So I learned it, you know, pretty good at it.
Well now we. It's evolved into these, like these stumps, right?
[00:01:00] Speaker A: Well, we just got somebody, somebody left
[00:01:04] Speaker B: and we had to kind of take
[00:01:05] Speaker A: over the stump shop.
[00:01:06] Speaker B: So I'm over there working and.
[00:01:08] Speaker A: And I'm back in it again.
[00:01:09] Speaker B: And I'm having to work now.
[00:01:11] Speaker A: I'm learning lathe.
[00:01:12] Speaker B: I'm having to do all this stuff and it's making me kind of spin out because I don't enjoy the work.
[00:01:21] Speaker A: But sometimes you gotta understand that God puts you in positions to work with you, tribulation, work with patience, patience, experience and experience hope. And that hope will never cause shame.
The expectation of future good will never cause shame.
[00:01:34] Speaker B: And mentally when I go through these
[00:01:36] Speaker A: types of situations, I go to God about it. Because as much as I don't want to do it, there might be a purpose.
And God's ways are higher than our ways. God's thoughts are higher than our thoughts. In all thy ways, acknowledge him and he shall direct thy path. You got to go to God and understand, like, maybe you have to do this for a purpose, for a reason.
There's a season, an appointed time. Actually, you know what, I'll go over that really quick. You go to Ecclesiastes, chapter 3, verse 1. It says to everything there is an appointed time or a season, and a season to every purpose or desired pleasure. Under the heaven. There's a time or a season to be born, there's a time to die, there's a time to plant, a time to pluck up that which is, which is planted. It's beyond man's Power to alter the seasons.
It's beyond our power to change time, and it is what it is.
God might be putting me in this position to learn this, that I may teach it.
[00:02:41] Speaker B: I don't know.
[00:02:42] Speaker A: All I know is that when I start this, it's almost like ptsd. I started spinning out.
But you can't allow your mind to go there. You're in control of your thoughts. As a man thinketh, so he is. If I'm thinking that my life is miserable, my life's going to be miserable,
[00:03:00] Speaker B: and I'm going to be miserable, and
[00:03:02] Speaker A: that's not the life that God wants for you.
Verse 4. There's a time to weep and a time to laugh. There's a time to mourn, a time to dance.
There's a time to cast away stones like in a vineyard, and there's a time to gather stones together.
You know, sometimes you need to break down the field. Sometimes you need to build up the field. Sometimes you need to break down those fences. Sometimes you need to build up those fences.
It's God's timing. But if you don't acknowledge God and you don't go to God and you don't ask God, it's hard to go back when you're really going through times of tribulation, because it's. You have no foundation.
He is my rock. He is myself. You know what?
[00:03:40] Speaker B: I'll go over that.
[00:03:41] Speaker A: Psalms, chapter 62, verse 1. It says, truly my soul, or I myself waiteth in silence upon God, for from him cometh my safety and my salvation.
Truly he is my rock, which is a symbol of firmness and my salvation or my safety.
He is my defense or high tower. I shall not greatly be moved.
God is your rock, and you have to have something to stand on. You have to have a firmness in your life.
Because when you go to God, you know that all things work together for good. To those that love God. His ways are higher than our ways. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
My soul, wait thou in silence only upon God for the state of expecting or the expectation. My expectation is from him.
But if you don't go to God where you expect it, where's your expectation coming from?
Talks about how he's a shelter.
Talks about how he's a high tower. You get in that thing for safety.
He protects you every day of your life.
There's no. There's not fear in love, but perfect fear. Casteth out fear because fear hath torment. Perfect love, it casteth out fear because fear hath torment.
God is love. And when you have God's love in you, you're not tormented in life where you're putting your thoughts. Where are you in life? You gotta choose.
Pray the big prayers today. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray, it's always to God. It's never to Jesus Christ. It's always to God. You pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ with that sacrifice of thanksgiving. Have a great day.
God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow.
[00:05:41] Speaker B: Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much for today. I pray for what's going to happen today that you just take care of that situation and it's a blessing for both people. I thank you for the continual guidance and your continual blessings. I thank you for the ability that you give each and every one of us. Specifically, I thank you for showing me how to take care of this lathe and getting these logs down quickly that we can get them manufactured out on time. I thank you for the ability to go to you. I thank you for your Holy Spirit and knowing that we can trust in that. And I thank you again for your son, Christ Jesus, what he did for us, that we can live this way. And I pray for each and every one of your believers today that you comfort them and take care of them. And just for a great day, I lift everything up to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
