[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? Hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will. Rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy. Continually. Give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank him on Friday. I just first and foremost thank everybody for praying. I know that there's a group that I send out texts to a couple hundred people, and my brother, really, he almost died on Friday using a machine. And it was literally a centimeter away from hitting a main artery.
[00:00:42] And I just want to thank everybody for praying. Prayers work and God protects his people. And if you're a son of God, I'm telling you, he's going to protect you. He's going to put you in situations that will save. I mean, he saves you. He saved me. Years ago, I had a heart attack.
[00:00:59] And I had just so happened to be working on like my outer heart based on. It's like a whole thing. It was a some part of a workout and that's where I got attacked. I had myocarditis. And God protected me in that moment and kept me alive. And I'm very thankful for that. And he turned around and did the same thing for my brother. So thank you for your prayers and if you can continue to pray for him, we'd appreciate that. I was reading this morning in Romans and it has to do with the Spirit. And I'm working on this right now because it's such a big deal to be spiritually minded. It's such a big deal to be putting this stuff in your mind and God's word and reading and putting into your thoughts the ministry of the reconciliation or the ministry of the reconnection, which is the Word.
[00:01:45] And to renew and renovate your thoughts to that word and not live in the carnal nature. If you go to Romans, chapter 8, verse 1, it says, There is therefore now not one condemnation, no condemnation to them which are in Jesus Christ or in Christ Jesus, the many. You believe in the name of Jesus Christ. You have Christ in you, the hope of glory. Romans 10, 9, 10. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart, God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
[00:02:11] Verse 2. For the law of the spirit, or the spiritual law of life, remaining or resting within Christ Jesus hath freed me from the law of sin. And the state of death, the law of sin and the state of death happened when Adam transgressed against God. And the connection between man and God was severed. But Christ Jesus reconnected it. And just considering yesterday was Easter, you know, what he went through, what Christ Jesus went through or Jesus Christ went through in order for us to have the Spirit, in order for us to be reconnected to God and to live this way was an incredible death. And it's unbelievable what he went through.
[00:02:54] And yet we have it now. And because of the acts of one man, sin entered into the world.
[00:03:00] And by the acts of one man, sin was removed, or not sin, but the state of death was removed, that corruptive state.
[00:03:07] So we have a new spiritual law of life that remains in Jesus Christ. Verse 3. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh. And for sin, condemned sin in the flesh.
[00:03:23] The law was there to show what sin was.
[00:03:28] But the law cannot make you righteous. There's nothing you can do in that law that will make you righteous. Because there is an atonement every year for those sins.
[00:03:37] But there was one. There's one sacrifice that did, and that's Christ Jesus, verse 4. That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us or accomplished in us who walk not in parallel motion with the flesh or the old nature, but in parallel motion with the pneuma, the Spirit, that new spiritual nature.
[00:03:56] For they that are remaining within the flesh do do mind. The things of the flesh are the old senses. It's the five, five senses, the old nature. If you walk in your life, just remaining and dwelling on your five senses, that is a carnal walk. But if you walk in the Spirit in the new spiritual sense, that's a spiritual walk. That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us who walk not in parallel motion with the flesh or that old nature, but. But in parallel motion with the Spirit. For they that are that are after or remaining within or in parallel motion with the old nature. That flesh do mind the things of the flesh, but they that are after the Spirit or are in parallel motion with the Spirit. The things of the Spirit.
[00:04:42] You got to know the Word and you got to put this stuff in your mind and in your thoughts. And once you've received the Holy Spirit, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
[00:04:52] You got to choose in life where you walk. You got to choose in life what you think on.
[00:04:58] You're in control of your thoughts. It's not the other way around. But boy, does it feel like that sometimes.
[00:05:05] I mean, sometimes when I wait. Things I think about on occasion are just like what? They're completely out there and you have to cast it out. Renew your mind and get back to the Word.
[00:05:16] In all thy ways, acknowledge him. Acknowledge God and he shall direct thy path. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart.
[00:05:24] You gotta trust in God, you gotta trust in his Word. And you gotta stick your mind and your thoughts on those things, not on the five senses.
[00:05:32] Again, thank you so much for praying. If you can continue to pray for my brother, I'd appreciate that. That he has full recovery and that his hand works 100%. He has 100% feeling. We'd appreciate that.
[00:05:44] But pray those big prayers today. Pray the small prayers. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray, it's always to God. It's never to Jesus Christ. You don't pray to Jesus Christ. He talked about that Christ is the son of God, not God.
[00:05:59] You pray to God. Lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a beautiful and with thanksgiving, have a beautiful day today. God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow. Let your soul and spirit fly into the misty.
[00:06:17] Well. Heavenly Father, thank you so much for today and that you just kind of guide my steps and. And slow down time that I can do the things that I need to get done and that it's done in an order that we can actually get everything finished. I also ask you for understanding on who to. Who to hire, who not to hire, how to handle this situation. I thank you for protecting my brother and saving him.
[00:06:41] I thank you for the.
[00:06:43] Just the abilities that you give us. And for my family and for all your believers out there. I pray for a great day today. I lift everything up to you in the name of my Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.
