[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank him. I'm finally about 90%. Thank God.
[00:00:26] Thank God. I'm getting back to normal. And, you know, I'm seeing all these things. Social media is so bad because I was sick. I was on my phone a lot, and it's just. I don't even know why I get on there. It's so ridiculous. All it does is essentially breed anxiety.
[00:00:43] Even if it's about the business or about the world or about just everything.
[00:00:49] It's ridiculous. But I saw a couple things that really bothered me and I've been working that out with God and talking to him about it, that he's just got to clean this stuff up. So I don't. I just don't like. I don't like it.
[00:01:01] And I was thinking about that this morning, and then I started reading. I've been. I've been working on this.
[00:01:07] This sinning thing and righteousness and kind of like where we fall now and just everything. And I came across this verse which has nothing to do with that, but it blessed me this morning. So if you go to Colossians, chapter three, verse one, it says, if ye, the if ye then be risen with Christ, seek or endeavor to seek those things which are above where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
[00:01:31] Where are you putting your thoughts and where you're putting your minds. The minute I start doing this, when I start reading that junk or seeing that stuff, I just have to step aside and be like, what am I putting my mind on? Like, where am I thinking?
[00:01:44] Because your mind, you are so easily influenced or not. You might not be. I am so easily influenced by stuff. I mean, there's stuff that I buy that I don't even want because I get so many ads.
[00:01:55] And I was thinking of, again, where do you set your mind? Because if you constantly go back and this is just an example to your phone and you start watching all that stuff all the day long, what do you think you're going to be thinking on?
[00:02:09] This says, if you then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God, set your affection or Set your heart and again your heart is the seat of your distinctive character.
[00:02:22] As he thinketh, so he is. The things you think about, they make you you.
[00:02:27] It's the things you think about. It's not the things you say, it's not your actions, it's the things that you think about that make you. You set your affection on things above, not on things within the land or this earth.
[00:02:41] For ye died and your life has been hid in conjunction with Christ, then this is in close proximity to Christ remaining within God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then we shall appear with him in glory. Mortify, therefore, or put to death. Therefore your members which are upon the earth.
[00:03:03] You got to renew your mind and renovate your thoughts. You choose what you think about.
[00:03:09] You choose the life you live.
[00:03:12] If you're constantly, let's say for me, if I were to constantly continue to go back and scroll next week or all, all throughout the week, my where I would be as a person, the things that I would think about are completely antithetical to what God wants for me.
[00:03:30] You have to choose what you put in front of your face.
[00:03:33] You have to choose the things that you think about.
[00:03:37] When you put your mind on the Word and the promises that God has for you. When you set your affection on things above walking in the spiritual nature, asking God to take care of each and every, every situation you're going in, going into capturing every thought and bringing it to Christ, you are in control.
[00:03:59] They jump over to verse 10 and have put on the new man which is renewed. And this is daily acquiring strength with motion to the epignosis which is having a true and personal relationship with, with an object after the image of him that created him. You have to put on the new spiritual nature in your mind.
[00:04:23] Once you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, it's not possible. If you don't have Christ, if you don't believe, you don't confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. This is going to be difficult to do because you don't have the new spiritual nature.
[00:04:38] There's the five senses.
[00:04:41] Seeing, taste, touch, you know the five senses. Then there's the spiritual sense. And once you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you are born spiritually new. You're a son of God. You have the opportunity and ability to put on the spiritual nature.
[00:04:56] You just have to choose it. Put on therefore, like a t shirt, verse 12. As the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercy. Are you thinking about subjective compassion. Are you choosing compassion, kindness, modesty or humbleness of mind? Meekness, long suffering, forbearing or holding up one another and forgiving one another. Yesterday I met somebody. This person absolutely set me on fire. Absolutely set me on fire to the point where I wanted to name drop with her manager, you know what I mean? I have a friend who's like really high up in a bank. I wanted to main name drop. I was so angry with this person.
[00:05:38] But you have to renew your mind. You got to renovate your thoughts. You got to pray for that person. You have to have active and subject or subjective compassion towards that person. You got to choose.
[00:05:50] And the only reason I would do that, the only reason I would do that is because I believe in the name of. I'm Christian because I believe and I'm willing to change my mind to what God says to do.
[00:06:04] Because believe me, any other time, if I was a little bit different, I would be such a. I mean, you have no idea.
[00:06:12] Pray the big prayers today. Change your mind, change your thoughts.
[00:06:17] Become the person that God wants you to become by choosing what you think about.
[00:06:21] Pray the big prayers, pray the small prayers. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray, it's a very specific word. It's praying to God, never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a great day. God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow.
[00:06:48] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much just for everything you do for us to pray for Janine. You take care of her sickness, you get that covered. I thank you for just everything that's going on for the country, for the war, that you just take care of all that stuff. I also pray for your believers.
[00:07:06] The other thing that's on my heart, that you know what that is, that you just take care of that and just drive that from us. Father. And I also thank you just for a great day today, for a blessed day. And I lift everything up in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
