[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today and I hope you are excited today because today is the day that the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy, continually give God that sacrifice of praise. Praise him and thank him and be joyful and be joyous. I. Yeah, I had a very, very calm weekend, which I'm excited about. But this morning I was reading in Psalms and I'm going to do one that I always go back to that talks about how God is our refuge. He's there as a shelter. He's there to protect you. And you're to declare your prayers to God and lean on God because He's always there for you. If you go to Psalms chapter 62, verse 1, it says, Truly, I myself wait in silence upon God, for for from him cometh my safety and my salvation and my victory.
[00:01:00] When you pray to God, your expectation needs to be in victory.
[00:01:05] We overcome the world right now. You have that ability right now. God gives you the ability. God gives you the ability to cause effect. And God gives you the emotional will to do to cause effect. Again, this is all biblical, verse 2. Truly, he is my rock. And rock is used for. It's a symbol of firmness. He's there, he's not moving. If you stand on a rock, you're not going to fall off. You know, you're not going to like, break that rock. He's going to be there for you 100%. Truly, he is my rock and my safety from evil, my salvation. He is my defense. I shall not greatly be moved.
[00:01:44] You're going to. What I like about this is I shall not greatly be moved.
[00:01:50] I mean, there are times you sway back and forth, man. Everybody goes through it. But to be not greatly moved, ultimately it's God. And it's hard to stand on that all the time and. And not, you know, let your mind go, that's for sure. But to stand upon that rock, knowing that he's there for you. He's your safety, he's your defense. You have victory through God. Well, it's actually through Christ and ultimately through God.
[00:02:14] Verse 5. My soul, wait thou in silence upon God, for my. My expectation is from Him. And this is the state of expecting. It's hard not. It's hard to wait in silence knowing that God's going to take care of you. Not complaining or whining. Now we are to declare our thoughts to God, our prayers to God for sure. But in your heart and in your mind, knowing that God's going to take care of it. My soul, wait thou in silence only upon God. For the state of expecting is from him truly. He is my rock. Again, the symbol of firmness. He is my rock and my salvation.
[00:02:52] He is my defense. I shall not be moved.
[00:02:56] He's going to take care of you. And if you're going through a situation where you need him to rest assured, you can rest on the. These types of words. You got to take these verses and put them in your heart. You got to contra. Was that counter your thoughts?
[00:03:13] Our thoughts are usually centered in the state of death.
[00:03:17] That carnal mind, it's antithetical to what God wants for you. So to put this stuff in and to fill your mind with light and to look towards God, because God is going to lighten the soul. Put light into your soul, man. He's going to take care of you in all ways.
[00:03:34] Verse 8. Trust or confide in him at all times, ye people. Pour out your heart before him. And if you think about just dumping out your heart, I mean, there's some times where it gets so bad for me, I have to just write it down to release it. Just release those prayers to God. Because there's so much going on in my mind and in my heart, I don't even know how to, you know, unweave it.
[00:03:58] You gotta pour out your heart before God. You gotta confide and trust in Him. And I love it in the. In the. You know, in the New Testament, it talks about declaring.
[00:04:08] It's like stating it. It's a powerful stating. Like, this is what's going on in my life. God, I need your help. I was praying this morning asking for him to take care of a couple situations, thanking him for doing it. If it's his will to open the door, to close the door, you gotta go to God in all things, in all ways. Verse 9. Surely men of low degree are a vanity and men of high degree are a lie to be laid in the balance. Balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity. Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery. If riches increase, set not your heart upon them. And this is an interesting one too, because as riches increase, so do the mouths that feed on it.
[00:04:52] They're biblical principles that you can't get out of. It just happens, man. It's so true. It's just wild. Verse 11. God hath spoken once, twice. Have I heard this. That power and strength belongeth unto God also. Unto thee, O Lord, belongeth grace and mercy, power and strength. It belongs to God. And grace and mercy. That loving disposition towards you. God's active compassion. He's actively compassionate towards the things that are going on in your life. All those things belong to God. That's your God and that's what he says about himself. Trust in the Lord all. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways, acknowledge him and he shall absolutely direct your path. Direct. Get God's direction today and go. Go. Enjoy life, man. Have a beautiful day today. Pray the big prayers. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray, you pray to God, never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God and lift it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a beautiful day today. God bless you and your family and I'll talk to you tomorrow.
[00:06:00] And where that foghorn blows, I will be coming home.
[00:06:10] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much just for everything you do for us and how you do it. I'm very, very thankful for the moments of my life and how you've just added this peaceful state right now. And rest. I pray for our country. I pray that we don't go to war, Father. And again, I just thank you for just the moments that you give us and for your believers and you just continually just work in us. A good work, Father. I thank you for your son and what he did for us. And I lift up a great day to you in the name of Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
