[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? Hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful. Be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise, Praise him and thank Him. Be joyful. Be joyous. I'm loved. [00:00:26] I've been reading the Proverbs or reading Proverbs with a renewed focus just because of the conversation I had. Like my mind hasn't changed as I've gotten older towards the Word. What's happened is I've seen the Word manifest or become visible more and more over time, especially in Proverbs because there's so many little nuggets of information and if you change your mind to what the Word says and you start to do that stuff, you don't have to experientially learn it. [00:00:55] So I really had a joy this. I had a. I felt a lot of joy reading Proverbs this morning, but I jumped over to Second Peter and I'm just going to go through one through nine because this really blessed me. If you go to Second Peter, chapter one, verse one, it says Simon Peter, servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God, our Savior Jesus Christ. This book was written to those believers. [00:01:23] Verse 2 Grace, which is that loving disposition and peace, which is the state of undisturbed well being, be multiplied or make you full through the instrument of the epignosis of God, which is the knowledge of God that's having a true and personal relationship with God. So if you read it again, Grace, which is that loving disposition and peace, which is the state of undisturbed well being, will make you filled or fill you up through the instrument of having a true and personal relationship with God and of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. [00:01:58] You have a relationship with God where you hear from God and you heed his advice and His Son Jesus Christ. [00:02:04] That's going to fill you up. You're going to see God's grace towards you. You're also going to be in a state of undisturbed well being, that state of peace which is a spiritual state. [00:02:13] Verse 3 according to or on on the ground that his divine power, his inherent power has been given to us all things for life and godliness. [00:02:25] Once you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you're righteous. You're born spiritually new. You're a son of God. And this Spirit, the Holy Spirit, that power from on high was given to you for life and godliness, which is having a true and personal relationship with. With God, a vital relationship. [00:02:43] That's what the purpose is through the knowledge as that experiential knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue. And virtue is superiority. That which has been given to us its worth, its efficiency, its efficiency, its moral excellence, his quality. [00:03:03] We've been given to us all these things and it's all in the word. [00:03:07] It's all biblical. When you, when you start to read this stuff and actually understand it, it's. It's phenomenal, the things that we've been given. [00:03:16] But he's given to us. God's given to us because of His Son, because the acts of one man, the reconnection he made us alive spiritually again with him, connected us in order that we can have life and that we can build that real and and vital and true relationship with God. And because these promises were given to us whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises, in order that by these ye might become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. [00:03:54] When you sin or when you do those things that are antithetical to what God wants, what God has laid out for you, it drives you away from the life that we have available to us. [00:04:07] It's not that you're not righteous in God's eyes, because you're righteous. The minute you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, nothing can change your position. [00:04:15] But he gave it to us in order that we can enjoy the divine nature, the spiritual nature, where we're reconnected to God and walking spiritually not in fear, not fearfully, but in peace. And enjoy being anxious for not one thing, but being able to pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ, knowing that those prayers will be answered. [00:04:40] Verse 5. And beside this giving all diligence, add to your faith. The first thing is faith, believing specifically in what, what you hear. The first thing, first thing you have to have is faith. [00:04:52] But we are to add to our faith virtue, which is moral excellence. It's not easy walking morally all the time, but add to that faith moral excellence and to virtue, which is moral excellence, experiential knowledge and experiential knowledge temperance or self control. And to self control patience, which is endurance with holding out. And to patience, godliness, which is having that relationship with God. [00:05:18] And to godliness, Brotherly kindness and to brotherly kindness, charity or love. [00:05:24] For these things existing in you, abound or render you that ye shall neither or not be barren or useless, nor unfruitful in the knowledge, that experiential knowledge, being acquainted with the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, that's what brings you the fruit of the Spirit. [00:05:45] The point is, is that you're there like you have a. If you, if you focus on God and you focus on his Word and get to know God and start to walk in this stuff, set your course of life facing God, you're going to experience life in a way that's spiritual and that life is overflowing. You're overflowing in that life. [00:06:05] You just got to choose which path you're going to take. And that's what's so wonderful. He gives you the opportunity to do that. [00:06:12] Pray the big prayers today. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray, it's always to God, never to Jesus Christ. It's not going anywhere. You pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ with that sacrifice of thanksgiving. Have a great day. God bless you and your family. Talk to you tomorrow. [00:06:42] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much for everything you do for us and just the great blessings you, you provide for us. I'm very grateful for the men's group last night and how much of a blessing it is to fellowship with those guys and that you just continually open up your word, that you show me kind of what to do or how to walk or if there's anything I need to do, that you put that on my heart. I also thank you for the moments I have with my family, for the things that you've made important in my life. I thank you for making that visible or manifesting that. And I pray for the business, for continual growth, for the new sprinter that you just take that off my heart, that I'm not upset about having to purchase that. And yeah, I just. I'm very, very grateful for your word and for your son and what he did for us. I lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
