[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? Hope you're having a great day today. [00:00:07] Speaker B: I hope you are excited today because [00:00:10] Speaker A: today is the day the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. [00:00:12] Speaker B: We will. Rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you [00:00:15] Speaker A: have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. [00:00:18] Speaker B: Be thankful, be happy. [00:00:19] Speaker A: Continually give God that sacrifice. [00:00:21] Speaker B: Praise. Praise him and thank him. [00:00:24] Speaker A: So last night I stayed up a [00:00:25] Speaker B: little bit later than normal. And if I don't sleep, I become an absolute monster. [00:00:29] Speaker A: I'm not one of those. I go to bed early. I get into bed about 8:15, I'm sleeping by 9. But I wake up at 4:30 and I'm just a monster. And it's always been like that. Well, this morning I woke up and I was feeling pouty and whiny, but I don't allow my swell. [00:00:45] Speaker B: That's not necessarily true, but I try [00:00:46] Speaker A: to get out of that in the morning if I'm in that mood. So I go into the Word and I start reading and I read this and it just kind of brought a whole bunch of stuff up. If you go to Proverbs, chapter 21, verse 5, it says the thoughts and these are the calculatings of the diligent. And those are those who apply constant effort tend only to plenteousness or abundance or gain. But everyone that is hasty or quick only to want or need or poverty. And I started thinking about this because this abundance, I go back to the abundance and God's abundance for you, which has to do with peace. God's peace. But the thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness. Do you only think about good things? Do you only think about abundance? Do you only think about gain? Or do you think of lack or need or poverty? I mean, this morning, this is a God always like. God always kind of spanks me. Always like every time that I think that I'm in a good spot or I'm or whatever it is that day, and I start reading, God opens the door, right? And this is a perfect example. What am I thinking about this morning? I'm thinking I'm tired. Need, lack, want. I'm thinking I gotta work today and I don't want to lack, need, want. I mean, it's a constant thing. But if you turn, if you change your mind and think about the abundance of gain, today's gonna be a great day. You know what I mean? What you think about makes you you. It's the heart of your Distinctive character. You need to choose in your life what you about. Well, that ended up making me go into thoughts. I looked up thoughts. And the first word that comes up in thoughts is this verse, chapter six of Genesis, verse five. It says, and God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. It is a natural thing. It's the carnal man versus the spiritual man. It is a natural thing to. To think negative thoughts. But God's word is spiritual. And I was going over this in the men's group. The only, the only offensive weapon we have is the word of God. It takes about. It talks, takes. It talks about putting on the whole armor of God like the breastplate of righteousness and the helm of salvation. And your feet shod with. You know, it goes through all these things. I think one of them is faith. It's a. That's a shield. The only offensive weapon is. Is the word. And this is a spiritual thing. This is what cuts through. This is where you can change your mind to what God says. And when you do that, you live in the abundance of peace, God's peace. When you start to apply the word and think on his Word will change your life. If you go to Isaiah, chapter 55, verse 7, it says, Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him return unto the Lord and he will have mercy upon him and our God, or, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. First and foremost, you got to know that you are righteous the minute you believe in the name of Jesus Christ. But if you stray, God's always there to take you back immediately. You don't have to condemn yourself. You don't have to live in this, this. This guilt consciousness. Not only that, but you can't consider that godliness is gain. God talks about that too. You have to be content in your life with what you have. But verse 8 says this. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. You have to renew and renovate your mind to what God says. You can't live in your mind spending, excuse me, spinning out. You can't live in that negative thought. You gotta change to abundance and gain and increase and goodness. But it's a choice. It's a choice and you can't. And there is, like I didn't get sleep last night. So I have an excuse, right? No, it's a choice. You control your mind, not the other way around. So you got to choose what you think on. Are you thinking on the good and the lovely and the beautiful, or are you thinking on the negative? Pray the big prayers. If you're not, go to God, man. Put a verse in your mind, renew it. Mix it up. Pray the big prayers today. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray, it's always to God. You never pray to Jesus Christ. You pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ with that sacrifice of thanksgiving. Have a great day. Have a beautiful day. God bless you and your family. Talk to you tomorrow. [00:05:52] Speaker B: Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much just for everything you do for us, how you continually bless, Bless each and every one of us. I thank you for this morning and that you work with me, that I can continually take interest in your word and have something to work on. Father, I thank you so much for the great blessings that you've provided for me, the friends I have, the family I have, the moments of my life. I'm just very, very thankful for each and every one of those. I again pray for this week. I thank you for yesterday, for the business. Now I pray for another person, bring another person in here, closing a door on that other. That other thing that went down. [00:06:31] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:06:31] Speaker B: And I'm just very, very grateful for the moments of my life. I thank you for your son and what he does for us, for your word and how wonderful it is. And I just lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and savior, Christ Jesus.
