You are never alone – 2 Corinthians 4:7-10, Philippians 4:11-13
Corinthians 4:7-10
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency (surpassing, throwing beyond) of the power (inherent power) may be of God, and not of us.
We are troubled (afflicted) on every side (in every thing), yet not distressed (suffocated as in wrestling); we are perplexed (not knowing which way to turn), but not in despair (altogether without help or means);
Persecuted, but not forsaken (abandoned); cast down (to throw or cast down, to strike down), but not destroyed (perished; as persons: put to death; of things: lost or ruined);
Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord (Christ) Jesus, that the life also of (Christ) Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
Philippians 4:11-13
Not that I speak in respect of want (being in want): for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content (sufficient in oneself, needing no aid).
I know both how to be abased (to bring low, humble), and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
I can do all (am strong for all) things through (resting within) Christ which strengtheneth (imparteth strength) me.
