12 Hope (expectation of future good) deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life (the tree supporting and continuing the life which had been imparted).

Better is the sight of the eyes (for what is seen thereby) than the wandering (a traveling without a settled course) of the desire (for what is pursued thereby): this is also vanity and vexation of spirit.
