Set your thoughts on good things - Ecclesiastes 8:15, Ecclesiastes 8:5-7, Ecclesiastes 8:11
Ecclesiastes 8:15
15 Then I commended mirth (gladness or gaity; accompanied by laughter), because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun.
Ecclesiastes 8:5-7
5 Whoso keepeth (guards) the commandment shall feel (know) no evil thing: and a wise man's heart discerneth both (a) time and (yea a) judgment (judgement time).
6 Because to every purpose (delight, desire) there is (exists a) time and (a) judgment (judgement time), therefore the misery (when the evil) of man is great (heavy) upon him.
7 For he knoweth not that which shall be: for who can tell him when it shall be?
Ecclesiastes 8:11
11 Because sentence (judicial sentence) against an evil work is not executed speedily (quickly), therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
