Live your life enjoying the restoration to favor - Romans 5:8-16, Romans 5:19-21
Romans 5:8-16
But God commendeth (put together, to introduce to one's acquaintance) his love toward (unto, in direction) us, in that (because), while we were yet sinners, Christ (the messiah) died for us.
Much more then, being now justified (set forth as righteous) by (remaining within) his blood (Jesus Christ's blood) we shall be saved (to make sound) from wrath through him.
For if, when we were enemies (object of emnity), we were reconciled (to change against anything; a change that the opposite party lays aside its enmity) to God by (out from) the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
And not only so, but we also joy in God through (the dividing line) our Lord Jesus Christ, by (out from) whom we have now received the atonement (restoration to favor).
Wherefore (on account of this), (just as) as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin (and by the means of sin, death) ; and so death passed (passed through) upon all men, for that (because) all have sinned:
(For until (continued until) the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed (charged, to put to or on an account) when there is no law.)
Nevertheless (but) death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude (likeness) of Adam's transgression, who is the figure (a pattern) of him that was to come.
But not as the offence, so (a falling aside also) also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead (died), much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation (the sentence pronounced against), but the free gift is of many offences unto justification (a righteous acquittal).
Romans 5:19-21
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made (established, constituted, set up) righteous.
Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
