Walk in the new spiritual nature - 2 Corinthians 5:4-11, 2 Corinthians 5:14, 17
2 Corinthians 5:4-11
4 For we that are in this tabernacle (the tent) do groan (to put on), being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality (the mortal thing) might be swallowed up of life (by the life).
5 Now he that hath wrought (effect, achieve) us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit (gifts of the holy spirit).
6 Therefore we are always confident (good courage, be full of faith and hope), knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent (to be away from one's people) from the Lord:
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8 We are confident (to be full of faith, confident), I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 Wherefore we labour (are ambitious), that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted (well pleasing) of him.
10 For we must all appear (be manifest in the presence of) before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (worthless or base).
11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
2 Corinthians 5:14, 17
14 For the love of Christ (the Messiah) constraineth (to hold, to keep together, secure) us; because we thus judge (in judging this), that if one died for all, then were all dead: (died).
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ (remaining within the Messiah), he is a new creature (creation): old things (ancient things) are passed away; behold, all things (they) are become new.
